"This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night."

"Le camere erano carine, pulite e fornite di tutto ma l’organizzazione è stata molto scadente. Non avevano avvisato la signora delle pulizie e siamo potute entrare in casa solo la sera. Inoltre non funzionava la caldaia, il riscaldamento e il gas."

"Even though this house was out of the way it was comfortable, spacious and provided us with a serene space after each day of sight seeing and travel in both Umbria and Tuscany. It was just what we were looking for to accomodate our family group and we enjoyed many good times. The siting of the apartment was a plus as we were able to witness beautiful sunrises and sunsets from our eyrie."

"If you want a quiet, low key rental villa in Umbria centrally located to Assisi, Spello, Montefalco and Spoleto, this is perfect. Would be nice if there was breakfast on site or Nespresso and pastries at least. But overall, good value and would recommend. The pool is beautiful and walking through the olive groves was great."

"The host was easy to communicate with. The location was closed to a public parking lot. But the most outstanding thing was a lovely apartment for the unique ceilings, the cleanliness and the feeling that you were back in time in old Italy."

"15 minute taxi ride from the train station, not 15 minute walk. Instructions for use of appliances and heating system not satisfactory. yes there’s a hairdryer, but it can’t be used in the bathroom because it doesn’t fit the outlet. washing machine tries to take flight as you use it. difficult to open and close the washer door. Internet is only a little more than a suggestion."

"L’agriturismo Cuore Verde è un vero e proprio gioiello. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli: giardino, piscina, arredi. L’appartamento Ginepro poi, essendo al piano terra, l’abbiamo trovato comodissimo e molto più grande delle aspettative. La proprietaria è una signora molto gentile, presente e attenta. Graditissimi l’olio di loro produzione e le lenticchie trovati in appartamento come omaggio. Sono stati cinque giorni perfetti. Grazie di tutto!"

"The bed is the most uncomfortable and feels a piece of wood. Gave us backache every day. The owner should buy a new mattress!!!! One has to find an outlet to the toaster and everything. It was the worst we have stayed in VRBO. ."

"Our stay at Casamaggiore was perfect. The property was traditionally and simply styled, well supplied and met all our needs. The facilities were as advertised and we delighted in using the pool and tennis courts. The property is perfectly situated for day trips to explore the region. "We never got to meet Monia, as she was away, but her brother, Mauro, took excellent care of us. He met us at the bottom of the hill and escorted us to the house and showed us around. He responded immediately to texts and questions, and gave us wonderful recommendations (we loved touring the olive oil mill that he takes his family's olives to). The house is a family home, a simple farmhouse but clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The uncle lives next door but we rarely saw or heard...
