Situated on a half-acre lot in the Sapodilla Beach neighborhood, the villa’s location off the beach affords privacy, yet beautiful Sapodilla Beach is there when you want it – just 100 yards from the villa to the beach path. Sapodilla Bay Beach has the softest, whitest sand you can imagine, boasting clear, calm waters. There are no waves and the water is only a few feet deep for 100 feet from shore, making this ocean an ideal place for children to play and adults to float the day away with a book or drink in hand. Sapodilla Beach faces directly west, offering fantastic sunset views nightly. The beach has a lively and fun Caribbean vibe, and offers watersports rentals. The five well-appointed bedrooms at Palm Jewel include: • Sabal Palm Suite: 1 king bed with an en suite bath featuring stone counters, double sinks, tiled shower, soaking tub and private outdoor shower garden. First floor. • Date Palm Suite: 1 king bed with an en suite bath featuring stone counters, double sinks and tiled shower. Second floor. • Coconut Palm Suite: 2 twin beds or one king bed with an en suite bath featuring stone counters, double sinks and tiled shower. First floor. • Foxtail Palm Room: 2 twin beds plus twin trundle bed, or one king bed. Bathroom with stone counters, double sinks and tub /shower right next door. First floor. • Buccaneer Palm Room: 2 sets of bunk beds plus a twin trundle (sleeps 5 children or 2 adults). Second floor. The Great Room is open and airy with soaring 18’ cathedral ceilings, sofa seating area, 60” flat screen smart TV, a dining table that seats 12, and writing desk. Original island paintings by a local artist adorn the walls throughout the villa. The gourmet kitchen features all stainless steel appliances, granite counters, mahogany cabinets, and comes fully stocked with professional-grade cookware and accessories. The outdoor kitchen area features a gas BBQ grill, an ice maker, a beverage fridge, and granite counters. The 2200-sqft outdoor living areas are centered on the 40’x14’ infinity edge swimming pool with both shallow and deep areas for everyone to enjoy. At night, the pool comes alive with stunning colored lights. The adjoining covered cabana features a double chaise lounge, and 8 single chaise loungers surround the pool, grouped under umbrellas. A hammock sits shaded under the palm trees, and a large sofa seating area surrounds a fire table. An outdoor dining table seats 8 under the shaded cover of an upper floor deck that provides ocean views and expansive 180-degree birds-eye views of the surrounding area. The upper deck faces west and is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the ocean each night. The villa’s landscaping features 15 different varieties of tropical palm trees – hence the name Palm Jewel – surrounded by lush native plants. The beach is a 1-minute walk down our neighborhood street to the private access path to beautiful Sapodilla Bay Beach. The calm waters are gin clear, and only a foot or two deep out to about 100 feet from shore. The calm, clear, shallow waters of Sapodilla are fun for young and old alike. The beach has watersports rentals, chaise lounge/umbrella rentals, and a lively and fun Caribbean vibe. We have a kayak and a stand-up paddle board for guests to use, as well as a beach wagon, folding beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach blankets, and beach cooler! Everything you need for a great day at the beach is available at the villa. Air conditioning is available throughout the house, with individually controlled units in each bedroom and the living areas so you can use just what you need. Air conditioning is metered separately and charged back to the guest at cost to encourage conservation. Air conditioning used at night in the bedrooms typically runs $150-300 per week. Our villa can accommodate up to 14 people, with a maximum of 8 adults in the party. Please note we are a Saturday to Saturday villa, and rent in one week increments only. We do all our bookings ourselves and only accept payment through the VRBO system. We do not accept wire transfers. We felt like we were at our own resort. An easy 5 stars for the home and layout! The house was very comfortable and well appointed. Perfect for our group of families with young kids. The pool has a shallow end for small kids and my 4 year old had a blast. The house has excellent air flow and we only used AC at night in our bedrooms. Total cost was around 90 for the week. Sapodilla bay is absolutely stunning. Calm and shallow and so easy to come and go from the house. We enjoyed the paddle board and the kayak. The management company was excellent and very accommodating and communicative. The neighborhood felt very safe and we had a few close restaurants to check out, though we cooked almost meals at home. ##### Cara A. So easy to work with last minute. Accommodations were awesome for 2 families and 5 kids (10-18). Everything we needed including grocery delivery!! The villa is great with an impressive outdoor area. Beach was close by and so calm and crystal clear. The only issue we had was with some bugs on the inside and mosquitoes on the outside because of the water and vegetation. We definitely look forward to returning. ##### cheryl j. We had 6 adults and 4 children ranging from 9 to 16 and the house was a perfect set-up to meet our family's needs. The house had a couple of small issues but the management company was quick to reply to texts and send someone over to resolve the issues. We enjoyed Sapodilla bay and during the week the beach was very quiet and at times felt like we had it to ourselves. I would highly recommend this property! ##### Anastasia H. The pool was wonderful and the beach is only a half a block away. There were toys for the kids to use in the pool. In addition there were paddle boards and kayaks for use in the bay. The bedrooms were spacious. The main living area was wonderful. The dining room table sat 12 people. Would definitely recommend Palm Jewel to others. ##### Margaret D. The pool and yard are awesome. Sapodilla beach is so close and beautiful. Even Las Barisas was fantastic and if we had more time we would have taken advantage of their platoon boat cruise in the Chalk Sound! We did quite a few excursions; jet skiing, horseback riding, snorkel tour, sunset cruise, fishing charter Plus we did day passes - once at Club Med (great deal) plus a flight to South Caicos with Sailrock Resort. All of us had our own space, and yet all of us were able to spend lots of quality time with each other. The large square table fit all of us and we were able to talk with each other. The pool was fantastic and I think that is where we spent most of our time. Short walk to the beach. The whole property was well cared for and appointed. I would say the only issue we had during the stay was the British way of driving (left side vs. right side). Many incredible restaurants within a short drive. Accommodated our family of 14 which consisted of 4 families with ease and comfort. Very spacious and well laid out. Our large group never felt crowded and could always find a quiet spot. The pool and pool area was amazing and as described. The 2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach in the world was a bonus and a special treat everyday! The pool is definitely what caught my eye the first time we booked Palm Jewel, but truly everything at the villa is perfect. The decor is lovely, kitchen is well stocked, and we felt we had lots of privacy. Sapodilla bay is just a few steps away and was lovely in the morning before everyone woke up. We loved morning coffee outside on the front patio getting to appreciate the beauty of the landscaping. The hammock by the pool was a great spot for reading in the late afternoon. Staff (pool cleaning, gardeners) were respectful and got their jobs done quickly with minimal interruption. Communication with Annalisa when booking is quick and clear, and Julian is great at responding to messages when checking in and for anything that arises during the stay. ##### Kate M.
