Really easy to relax. The staff was superb getting us anything we requested. The propertt is a bit removed from dining. Though small in size, it was impressively well-equipped—especially the kitchen, which had every essential amenity for a comfortable stay. Meimi, the housekeeper, was truly exceptional—her warm care, attention to detail, and dedication to our satisfaction did not go unnoticed. And Suzanna was incredibly helpful, guiding us through the town with fantastic recommendations for dining and local beaches. Would recommend renting a vehicle so you're not bound by their schedule. The staff is VERY accommodating and nice making our stay a pleasure. The property worked nicely for us and I would recommend it for those that don't need to be able to step out of their hotel right onto the sand. We liked renting a car and visiting many of the beaches on the island. That being said, this is a very reasonably priced place to stay. Not much right on the property, but the “sister” hotel 1 mile away has a nice pool and restaurant. With the money we saved (most rooms on the beach are 3x the fees of One On Marlin) we rented a car for the week and got to do some great exploring. Can’t say enough about the staff. SUPER helpful with recommendations, and answered all our questions. Easy shuttle to the beach everyday and the driver Geoffrey is super friendly and takes care of everything! At the resort, Mimi and Susanna make sure you have everything you need, every day and you just need to ask! I wish it was a little closer to restaurants but everything is an easy cab ride away....One on Marlin gives you a local cell phone with all the numbers you need programmed in the contacts and we used Nancy's cab for everyting we needed!! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Plan to rent a car or take cabs to get around the island, which is easy. The shuttle service to the beach and pool is great during the day, my only wish would be that it ran a little later into the evening. Both the beach and pool are very nice. This hotel reminded be of an Air b n b in the sense of feeling like I had an apartment/home to myself, but with the amenities of a hotel. The property manager was very communicative and helped set up the room for my boyfriend’s birthday. You are also given a phone you can use to communicate with staff.
