We enjoyed casual breakfasts by the pool and organized dinners at the large dining table. Sandy beach next door. Steps to the water on the property and nice pool. Many ways to enjoy.sun and water. The location was great and the peaceful beach right outside the back door was phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed the home and there was plenty of room for 7 adults. It was very easy to go to the more touristy areas on the north side for shopping and snorkeling (about a 15 minute drive). Having the nice grocery store within about 10 minutes away was really handy. Our host greeted us at the home and was super helpful in making recommendations for food, groceries and excursions. I must add that nearby Bob's Bar by the marina was super friendly as well. Thanks for a great vacation and can't wait to visit again! ##### John M. Some concerns regarding plumbing came up upon check-in, but the management team was incredible and addressed all our concerns quickly and thoroughly and remained in close communication. The house is perfect for large groups as it has many little sitting areas to disperse into and the direct beach access means you don't need to drive anywhere to get killer ocean access. One thing that would have been nice was to have an outdoor table large enough to seat all 10 adults so we could have enjoyed eating meals outside. The glass-boat drone company at the next door public beach does operate pretty much everyday and is noticeable from the property, but didn't get in our way since we could access the water straight from the villa. ##### Michelle F. Perfect for large families or groups. Private water access or quiet sandy beach access just steps away. Gorgeous sunrise and sunset views. Our favorite part of the day was coffee on the back porch every morning. Property hosts were very responsive and friendly. 10-15 minute drive to famous Grace Bay as well as other lesser known beaches. Would absolutely stay again! ##### Kara W. Our family of 11 had a wonderful time at the villa. It was clean, spacious, and so secluded. We absolutely loved being able to enjoy our first visit to T&C and spend our time just enjoying our family and the beautiful country. Everything was super close (15 minutes or less drives) to the grocery stores, GraceBay shopping, restaurants,etc. The team promptly addressed our issue with the pool. It is clean and the best stocked rental I have ever stayed in (from beach chairs to beach towels, kitchen gadgets to Ziploc bags and laundry detergent). The pool and grounds are awesome...the pictures do not do it justice. The sunsets are awesome and the water is so clear and calm. We rented cars, which we did use some, but ended up taking taxis to dinner to avoid driving after dark or after any drinking...it is a little off the beaten path, but we loved it and never felt unsafe (even hanging out in the pool and on the patio til very late). For the money, we felt it was a great deal and would totally stay here again! I should also add ths the local management company was awesome and so responsive to out every question and need! ##### Amy P. While there were amble restrooms, they were not onsuites. All bedrooms were a great size. The kitchen was fully stocked. They even provided gas for the grill and spices. They provided ample pool towels, sun block and aloe vera. The bedrooms were cold, but the downstairs was warm. Otherwise, everything was perfect. ##### Adrienne T. The house was absolutely beautiful and had so many outside sitting areas to enjoy the ocean view. The ocean was literally out your back door !! The cove provided shelter from the wind and we were able to use floats and just relax in the ocean. After a day in the ocean we had a beautiful pool to come back to! The house had big living spaces along with big bedrooms! A great media room to relax and enjoy a movie in the evenings! Upon arrival we were given a tour of the house and contact info should we need anything. We had an issue which required maintenance and they responded immediately and rectified the problem! I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for the perfect place to enjoy beautiful Turks and Caicos !!! ##### Tracy H. We absolutely loved everything about Villa de Ligera. We had high expectations and it exceeded even that. The location right on the ocean and the views were beautiful! We spent so much time in the ocean as well as the huge pool. There are so many areas to sit outside and take in the gorgeous surroundings. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. The house itself is beautiful and huge! The movie room with its own extra bathroom (with tub) not listed are added bonuses. The house is stocked with everything you could think of. There was nothing we needed that we could not find. There are 3 different types of coffee makers including a Keurig. Many spices available for cooking. Our group was 11 total - 3 couples and 5 children ranging from 11-18 years. The villa was perfect for us and exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing. Perfect sunset view, beautiful water, and perfect white sand – everything is stunning. The Villa management team was great and promptly responded to any questions/requests that we had. The movie room (not pictured on the VRBO listing) is a nice bonus and was perfect for our one rainy day on the island. The villa is an older home that has been updated, so there are a few signs of it being an older property, but they did a great job with the updates and the location is worth every penny. We went to various villas across the island and honestly, the best views and water were right out our back door of Villa De Ligeria. The public beach to the East of the Villa is beautiful, but there will be a few people there each day, and there was a group there each day doing “clear canoe” photoshoots for island visitors with drones. It wasn’t distracting as you don’t see/hear them due to the trees and vegetation, but just know that the beach is a public beach, so be prepared a few people (5-10 max) might be there during the day. The beach was fun to go for a walk at dusk or early in the morning though, as no one was ever there. Overall, visiting T&C and staying and Villa De Ligeria was an amazing experience, and we would highly recommend it! Enjoy! ##### Craig H. I celebrated my 40th birthday at this property with six of my friends & had an awesome time. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Pros and Cons (and Tips) follows as an FYI for future guests. Pros: Location, views, amenities in house (speaker system was incredible!), towels for the pool/beach, spacious bedrooms, A/C in each room that kept the bedrooms nice & cool. The IGA supermarket is 8 mins away by car, very convenient to stock/restock what you need. Cons: (1)The main areas of the house (not bedrooms) can get very hot with no A/C. We tried to have windows open for circulation, but some windows either didn't have screens or the screens were ripped. Screens are needed because unfortunately, a LOT of mosquitos. (2) The mosquitos are everywhere, especially at dusk/night, so be prepared. (3) Upon check in you're asked for a credit card in case you go over electricity overage. Luckily we did not, but please be aware you're capped at a certain amount of kilowatts for your stay. (4) Last, but not least, there is a beach to the left of the house that appears to be private, but there was a glass boat company that ran photo ops/rides out of that beach. The company gives out the address to the house as the meeting point, so every day we had people pulling into the driveway and asking us where to go. They would also walk up on the property in the back. Property needs a sign that says "Private Property" to avoid this. \*Tip:4th bath is in theater room.
