We're not resort people either and we've used VRBO in the past as we did here. The apartment was perfect for us. It had all the amenities we wanted. Here are a few of the ones I look for. A/C in bedroom Safe to lock up extra money washer/dryer kitchen and dining area Queen or King size bed This place checks all the boxes. The communication with the owner was top notch. They also gave us a list of recommendations to do while on the island. Word of advice is rent a car. You can't get around without one. We toured the entire island probably twice and ate some fabulous food while there. They provided us a list of activities to do and places that you should eat. That was a nice touch. I use Trip Advisor quite heavily when we travel and the places they suggested were high up on the list. I'd highly recommend staying here. They are renovating what will probably be a 2 bedroom apartment. I'm hoping upon our return that we can rent that as well if we bring our adult children and their spouses. ##### Jason C.
