We are not on the beach but we are located in a popular quiet residential area in Grace Bay, that is close to major resorts (Royal West Indies, Grace Bay Club, Villa Del Mar) restaurants, casino, golf course and shopping. It is only steps away from Coco Bistro, a top island restaurant and near to the golf course. We enjoy a very private neighborhood. The house has a wrap around terrace and covered and open patios. There is a child friendly pool surrounded by well maintained tropical gardens and trees. The 2000 sq ft residence has a four poster queen bed in the master bedroom and the guest bedroom has two queen sized beds. There is a queen murphy bed in the main living area. There are 3 full bathrooms, one being convenient to the murphy bed, others are ensuite. Linens and towels are all provided for your convenience. Come and enjoy our little piece of paradise, warm winds, expansive beaches, sunshine and a wide choice of restaurants. information about the home and local recommendations. Our on island contact will pop by after your arrival to make sure you are comfortable and oriented with the property. A comprehensive guide to our home and favorite restaurants, shops, beaches and activities will be forwarded prior to your arrival so you can plan your holiday and find your way around! Car rentals are highly recommended, that will assist you in enjoying the amenities and sights around the island and they are economical compared to taxes. Advance reservations are recommended for major holiday periods. Grace Bay Car rentals is very close and offers airport car pick up. Other major car rental agencies are available. We personally use Grace Bay Car Rental and have found their service to be excellent. In Grace Bay, it is all about the beach but after a day in the sun, you will come home to a relaxing drinks by the pool or on the front terrace, we are surrounded by vegetation, hosting many tropical birds and flowers. The living area is separated nicely from the two bedrooms, so those of us that are early risers could get the day started without bothering the others. We didn't cook too much, but the kitchen was set up well, and the appliances including washer/dryer/grill were all in new condition. A good quality travel crib and tv's in very room for end of day crashing were appreciated. The location can't be beat. We rented a car for three days but found we could easily walk to the beach and into town for groceries and restaurants the rest of the time. We used the bikes and helmets for a couple of longer trips. Tina was very helpful and answered quickly whenever we had a question or concern. This is an impeccably clean and tranquil house. It is very well stocked. There are beach towels, beach chairs, and an umbrella, all very substantial and in perfect condition. There are more bath towels than Bed,Bath and Beyond had. All clean and crisp. Even the pots, pans and oven are 100% clean. The interior is kind of sprawling. We, a family of 4, spread out and each had our own ample space. The back area of the house is special. The tropical trees and and plantings afford complete privacy. It is peaceful and relaxing. The pool provides a refreshing plunge. The location is perfect. A 1 minute drive to Grace Bay beach. It is also an absolutely walkable distance and bike ride. I stayed at Gracemir house for 2 weeks with my husband and our 19 year old son. The house was very spacious and very clean. The property is in a great location and is very private. Everything is close by - the beach, the restaurants, the grocery store, the shops! The host, Tina, is very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Great location to the beach and restaurants and shopping. The air conditioning in the master was not keeping that room cool. Owner was responsive and said she would have the tech look in to it. That is the only complant. Loved the house and the privacy it provided, the pool was just the right size to cool off in and enjoy the sun. 8 out of 10\. ##### Christopher H. It was a great place to stay. Everything we needed including a pool. Close to the beach, restaurants, shops and grocery store. We were able to mostly walk to all these places. The host and property manager where always available and great in giving us suggestions on where to go. We had a great time and if we are every in Turks and Caicos again, we'll try to rent Gracemir again. ##### Anna L. The location is great; you are close to beaches, restaurants, shopping and the golf course yet still in a quiet secluded neighborhood. The house is well equipped with everything we needed (beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkellin equipment, and so much more). The rooms are spacious, the back deck was lovely for sitting and drinking coffee in the morning, as well as for working (for those who can't completely unplug, internet access is great). The owners checked in on us to make sure we were happy with everything and always responded right away to any inquiries. Definitely would recommend staying here! ##### alicia a. Stayed 7 nights in Dec 2021 Archival ### 10/10 Excellent 30 Nov 2011 #### great home and hotel alternative for family or couples We (2) stayed at Gracemir during November and found it to be a great alternative to the Grace Bay hotels. It is exactly as depicted in the pictures, with the nice addition that the owners have just added a small pool off the large deck. It is 2 large bedrooms, each with its own bath, and separated by a living area and full kitchen. So, this is ideal if you have a family of 4, or 2 couples traveling together. It is a 5 min walk to Coco Bistro, but maybe 20 mins to the beach. You can walk to about 6 places to eat, but its too far to walk to the store (there are bikes provided). A car is a major plus for staying here. The island is fantastic and relaxing. The owners were very responsive to a few problems, namely internet access and the air conditioning (operator error!), and they seem genuinely committed to making your stay enjoyable. They have done well with special touches. Be careful of the floors very slippery first few days. Enjoyed the area went jogging and walking in the neighborhood every day with now worries. A few dogs here and there but they was contained behind fences. Walking distance to pretty much everything. How ever was not impressed with the island itself, not much to do, people were not very friendly at all. Did some tour things and they was nice but restaurants, stores not so much. Very exspencsive for food at grocery stores or eating out. Would not be a place we would return to. But nice to say we went! ##### Joyce S. We were supposed to have 2 couples but one was not able to make it, so needless to say we had more than enough room. Had the 4 of us been there, it still would have been plenty of space. The rooms are very large, both with en suite bathrooms and there is a third, full bathroom which is always great. The location is great as well and we found ourselves walking down to Cocovan many nights for drink, which had a great outdoor space and is located in the same lot as Coco Bistro. We did rent a car, which I would highly suggest, as we wanted to explore the island, but Gracemir is extremely close to the busy Grace Bay area while still feeling secluded and private. We had no problems getting in touch with Tina for any questions we had and the house was very well stocked with anything you could need from beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, kitchen supplies/utensils, extra bedding, bath towels, etc. We loved it and would absolutely return in the future. ##### Sera S. We loved our stay and Getho (the gentleman in charge of the property) was very friendly, approachable, and took great care of the property, and provided outstanding service while we stayed there.
