Very nice stay at the DoubleTree Hilton Trieste. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and no noises from outside or neighbors. I did not have their breakfast as there are many cafés and restaurants near by to try. Location is excellent for walking around and sightseeing. The only negative remark would be the parking and valet service. The secure lot is a couple of blocks from hotel and it took up to an hour to get the car from valet, even though we asked for it for a specific time the night before.
Other than that, I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever back in Trieste.

The hotel itself is nice, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Parking was very difficult, since their garage was full. They could have informed us that there was a public garage about 100 meters from the hotel, so we didn’t need to struggle to find a spot on the busy surrounding streets. The room was ok and clean but very small. It is possible to walk to the city centre but it is a relatively long walk - about 40 minutes - and involves lots of steps.
