"Loved the House, Loved the View, Loved the Vibe!! House provided all our needs… despite a few critiques, it was a fabulous stay and experience on the island! 2 misleading items were a kayak listed onsite and snorkeling from the house. Maybe at one time there was a kayak? But i asked our greeter and she confirmed we could rent one- definitely not a deal breaker just disappointed. Secondly, i personally entered the ocean from onsite and tho its definitely approachable its full of tall grass in this particular cove which is misleading from the pics; its possible someone started picking out the grass in front of the property which was kind but the bottom is so marshy it definitely wasn’t desirable to our families. But definitely enjoyed the great view and we had nice breezy weather which helped keep mosquitoes at bay. The deck is amazing, the outdoor bed so dreamy, and pool was used daily for dips and it surprisingly stayed soo cool which was refreshing! The volleyball net needs to be replaced so we didn’t want to be responsible for breaking it. Though there was a fancy coffee maker onsite, we followed instructions and couldn’t make it work, just blinked. But we were happy just to have the drip maker. Our King size sheets didn’t fit either of the King beds… constantly had to remake the beds daily. But beds were very comfortable and A\C was amazing and sufficient storage for our clothes. We couldn’t close the gate; so 3 donkeys entered 2 our surprise! so cute! "

"Outstanding experience staying at Horizon's Edge. It's obvious from the beginning that the owners and property manager take pride in ensuring their guests have the best experience. The communications were among the best we've experienced in our long history of renting vacation properties. The responsiveness whether it be for packing tips, travel recommendations, questions during the stay, or checking out was consistently fast and excellent. The property itself is outstanding and the pictures provided in the description do not do it justice. It had everything we needed and more. We had been to St. John before and were concerned the property might be a little too remote. In actuality, we had a far better experience on the island from this location than we did closer to Cruz Bay. You get a wonderfully maintained property that has spectacular views, quiet privacy to enjoy your surroundings while having better access to beaches including those on the East End. We will definitely be looking for the availability of this property for our next visit to the island."

"Nice stay at a remote location. Would have been ideal if weather would have been better. Otherwise great location, well equipped, calm and in an interesting environment.The only minor downer was that the host sent us lots of messages: „what to do and not to do“?Nevertheless recommend stay."

"We loved the house and property. The nearby beach has great snorkeling and was a real bonus. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool during the day and in the evening. Perfect for nature lovers and visitors who want a peaceful, safe place off the beaten path. We really enjoyed the wildlife on and around the property. Our favorites were the baby goats running up and down the road, the little anoles and the 2 hermit crabs under the stairs. The view from the front deck (and the pool) is amazing! We began each day drinking coffee on the deck and admiring the view. The house is very comfortable and the owners have provided everything needed and more. Because we rented a jeep, we were able to drive all over the island with no trouble. Our family would definitely recommend this rental to others and we look forward to staying here again one day."
