To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us. The home is a water well property, and with the extreme heat and current drought, the pressure is low. Please be mindful of your water use and help us make efforts to conserve. It is best to shower one at a time as the well may not be able to sustain multiple locations all at once. Please note that this is a rural property out in the Texas Hill Country, where it's common to encounter wildlife such as birds, reptiles, deer, and other local fauna. Rural areas like ours may have limited or different services compared to urban settings, including cell phone and delivery services. As you may know, Texas is known for its bug inhabitants. Rest assured, we take proactive measures to manage this, and it shouldn't pose a problem during your stay. To help us keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed. The house and the porch were extremely clean and spacious allowing private space for everyone but at the same time the large kitchen, dining, living room, game room, etc provided space for group activities. We stayed at the Rusted Roof Inn recently and had a wonderful time! There were 3 generations of us together, and there was something for everyone. From the fabulous furnishings to the lovely hill country decor to the well-appointed kitchen, we lacked for nothing. Oftentimes houses look better in the pictures than they do in person, but not with this house!
