Surrounded by mature tropical landscaping, overlooking Princeville’s famous mountains and waterfalls, this recently renovated condo is a wonderful place to stage your vacation on the most beautiful island in the world! Not just outside, but inside too, it feels like glamping without sacrificing any modem convenience. Tropical plants, soothing colors, natural materials, with modern Hawaiiana decor will reset you on island time, in no time at all. This condo sports a pool, hot tub, brand new barbecue and lovely grounds. The most gorgeous beaches in the world are right down the hill and shopping and dining are 1/4 mile away. You also find golf, tennis, and spectacular hikes, all within walking distance. You'll also find the luxurious "One" Hotel and the Hanalei Bay resort immediately down the road for sunset cocktails or an amazing dinner. Princeville is convenient to all the very best that Hawaii has to offer. A full kitchen is at your disposal for foodies. Here you'll find new appliances, a large gleaming island for dining and plenty of counter space. There’s private lanai just off the living room with comfortable seating and bistro dining. From this lovely second floor view with no housing across the street you can watch the waterfalls, morning rainbows and sunset colors bouncing off the small lake in the golf course. On the lanai you'll also find body boards, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and a cooler all ready for your use. The primary bedroom has central air conditioning and black out curtains enabling you to close off the world outside after a day in the tropical warmth. There is a large smart television, a comfortable king size bed and a work space as well. The bathroom features a deep soaking tub and all of the amenities. The unit is offered for rental when the owner is traveling and will have stocked kitchen for your use. From check in to check out, Kimberlee made sure that we had everything that we needed. Her home was perfect for a couples getaway. The amenities and cleanliness were top notch. Being right in Princeville made it walkable to beaches nearby, the shops in Princeville, and sunsets from the lookout. A short drive to all the activities the north shore has to offer. We had a wonderful time! The location is very convenient to visit the state park and Hanalei Bay. Being from a cooler climate, the AC in the bedroom made it very comfortable to sleep at night. Kimberlee went above and beyond in making sure our stay was comfortable. She was very responsive when we asked questions. She has snorkel equipment, boogie boards and a variety of beach items. Kimberlee was kind to be flexible on check-in and check out times. The pool and spa that are on-site were great. One thing to note is that if you are noise sensitive, the property is alongside the road. Kimberlee's property is delightful! Waking up each day with coffee on the lanai overlooking the golf course with the mountains in the background was the perfect start to the day. A short drive to Hanalei Bay and walks to great beaches for snorkeling. Kimberlee provides beach towels and snorkeling gear - a much appreciated extra! Parking was ample, and check-in was easy. We appreciated the A/C in the bedroom. The shower had nice water pressure. The place is nicely decorated and homey. We did encounter a couple of small pests, but we tried not to be alarmed as that is pretty common for island living. The location is central for the north shore--easy drives to Haena State Park, Hanalei Valley and Kilauea towns. The location is great being right in the middle of the north shore. The room is beautiful with tall ceilings, lots of windows providing a nice cross breeze. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are soft. Access to a nice porch with gorgeous views of the golf course and mountains surrounding Hanalei. But what I love most is Kimberlee, she is the perfect host and always makes me feel right at home. She’s also a great reference for surf spots and beaches. It’s has become an annual tradition. Her place is beautiful with tall ceilings in the bedroom and a private bath. The porch looks out over the eucalyptus trees on the gold course and it’s close to a nice walking path that you can take down to the water. Comfortable mattress and soft sheets, windows with beautiful view and nice cross breeze. But the thing I love most about staying here is Kimberlees’s generous hospitality. She is a wonderful host and always makes me feel at home. She has great recommendations for surf spots and is a kind and welcoming host. The space was large for a one bedroom, and we found most of the comfort we were looking for. She was very easy to communicate with and the check-in and out processes were very easy.The only watchout we'd advise to keep in mind is that the construction, as is pretty common in Kauai, includes venitian blinds as walls to let the air in (when opened). This means the sound insulation isn't ideal (to no fault of the owner, it's just the architecture of the area), and since you're staying near a small road, you're likely to want to use earplugs at night if you're sensitive to noise in the evenings/early mornings. We did ok, and again it's a fairly standard construction standard on the island, so you're likely to find this in most places you rent. But better be a little prepared! ##### Shann B.
