We were a group of 4 couples here to celebrate a vow renewal ceremony. From the very first contact, the owner, Simon was exceptionally responsive and cooperative. We have rented properties around the globe, and he was the best owner ever. Readily available via cell phone at any time, answered emails promptly.
The house was all we had hoped and more. At the end of a cul-de-sac on a quiet residential road. Lots of room in the driveway for 3 vehicles. The views on the website are spot on. What you don't see are the sunrises, sunsets and the sounds of the waves through the bedroom sliders at night. We never needed air conditioning.
Each couple had a private bedroom and bathroom. Hopefully, the clothes storage problems in 2 of the bedrooms will be solved soon.
In addition, the common areas were beyond compare. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could imagine. The pantry had some basics, which we added to. We cooked or grilled or ate leftovers 9 of 11 nights.
Every morning we had coffee and then breakfast on the lanai. "Ricky and Lucy", birds, visited us every day. We saw a whale once, and sea turtles in the beach below. Wifi in the house was perfect, no complaints. We had occasion to call the property manager once, and he was spot on with his service. We watched a baby albatross grow in the yard next door; quite a sight.
A couple of recommendations: horseback riding at Silver Falls, close by on the north shore. Also toured a botanical garden on the north shore, toured the coffee plantation on the west side, and jumped from an airplane! The house has lots of guidebooks to suggest what you want to do.
In summary, a wonderful vacation, in a spectacular house, with an accommodating owner. Highly recommend
