Step inside through the front door and be immediately impressed by the abundance of natural light from a wall of sliding glass doors and floor to ceiling windows. A comfortable living area offers cushy couches and chairs nestled around a large TV and decorative fireplace. A light and soft color pallet with touches of island decor elicits the beachy vacation vibes you are looking for! An appointed dining area offers a table and chairs for eight and a unique hanging light fixture. Multiple ceiling fans are a wonderful addition and serve to move Kauai’s cooling tradewinds throughout the space, the island’s natural air conditioning. Take a few steps to the fully-appointed kitchen, ideal for the chef of your group! Intentional additions like a six panel skylight and garden-view window allow the sun to shine through all day long. A generous amount of counter space makes cooking a joy in this kitchen and the space includes a large kitchen island, ample cabinet space, walk-in pantry, side-by-side refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, two sinks, and all of your cooking equipment. Reviewer Comments: What we loved: The spaciousness of the home, lots of parking for 4 cars, great lighting, and air circulation. The backyard / grassy area was lovely for sitting outside together. We used the BBQ to grill veggies one night. The kitchen was well-appointed, and it was great to have two refrigerators. The dining table and the living room were comfortable enough for the seven of us. The area where the home is located is close enough to walk to the beaches. What could be better? When we arrived, the floors were still dirty, so our feet were black. We bought a floor mop and wet wipes to clean them ourselves. We also picked up new bathmats from Costco because the ones provided were so basic and slipped around. Additionally, the brown bathroom towels in the downstairs master bedroom were very musty-smelling after just one use. I would recommend they get thrown out and replaced. Finally, we still had to get in the car to Foodland, as the walk was farther than we thought. All in all, we had a wonderful two weeks. We did not feel the mid-term cleaning was necessary, as we are a very tidy group. The housekeeping charges were astronomical based on what we received, and I'm sorry to say that was the most disappointing part! It felt like a waste of our money.We had one need for a simple repair to a sink plunger upstairs. The response was quick, but we would have liked to have known, timing-wise, before the maintenance person came. The communication with the rental company was very good and efficient. We even received reminders for trash pick-up. Our favorite beach was Pu'u Poa in front of the 1 Hotel. Hanalei Bay is always the best for sunset! We also enjoyed walking around the area in the mornings. It is peaceful, and the neighborhood (and neighbors) are all very nice. We will likely choose a different home in Princeville next time the family gathers. ##### Erika C. We spent most of our days at Anini and Hanalei beaches with the occasional day trip to Tunnels beach and more. The house was great for all three generations of our family and was cool at night thanks to the trade winds. Certainly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in North Shore Kauai. ##### Benjamin C. We had more than enough space for the five of us (two couples, one single, ages mid-20s to early 80s). The property was even nicer than the photos- incredibly well-stocked kitchen with plenty of plates, utensils and great cookware, nice small appliances and even a Ninja blender perfect for piña coladas. The microwave was out of commission but everything else worked perfectly. The living room has big couches and chairs that were comfy and inviting. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms (and the whole house) very clean, patio in back was a pleasant place to sit, grill was great, and balcony on second floor off the double bedroom was perfect for morning coffee. The house sits in a very nice residential neighborhood that was quiet (except for roosters) and easy to find. We were a short drive to Hanalei Bay (and yummy shave ice!) and close to the activities we wanted to do on the North Shore. I traded a couple of texts with the property manager who was quick to respond and helpful with the info I requested. Hope we can come back someday! Great house! ##### Cindy M. There were 6 of us on this trip. All adults The home sits in a nice neighborhood in Princeville that is surrounded by a golf course. Nice walking paths and beautiful views The home is spacious and comfortable. Large kitchen, dining and living room area as you enter. Kitchen was well supplied and there is an extra kitchen / freezer in the garage if you want to stick up at Costco on your way in. Home was very nice and has room to spread out We enjoyed the beach toys and beach cruisers. The umbrellas, chairs, wagon etc were quite handy for beach excursions We walked to Queens Bath for some beautiful views and were rewarded with quite a few sea turtles along the coast. Just a short drive to Hanalei Bay which is a great beach to hang out on or boogie board. Snorkeling here wasn’t great Took a short hike to Hidden Beach. Small but beautiful. Also drive to Tunnel Beach. Beautiful area and better for aquatic life Really enjoyed the quiet beauty of the area and would happily return if I had the opportunity ##### Chris J. First impression after opening the door is that you've walked into an oasis. The property is meticulously maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked. In addition to having plenty of the usual supplies you expect from a house rental, this house also offers gadgets and appliances not usually seen in other rental homes. The bedroom and hallway closets are fully stocked with plenty of linens, towels, toilet paper, and other supplies. They also provide beach supplies and toys, bikes, and a mini ping-pong table. The lanai upstairs with a beautiful mountain view provides an excellent place to relax or gather with others. There is also a private courtyard downstairs with a barbecue, a sink and an outdoor shower. The location of this house is excellent if you want to check out Hanalei Bay, North Coast Kauai and surrounding areas while avoiding being stuck in traffic every time you venture out of the house. The airflow and layout keeps the house cool even on hot summer days. There are a few grocery stores within a short drive if you want to cook meals or buy supplies. If you want to eat meals out, there are excellent restaurants close by. ##### John F. Property is exquisite and provided everything we were looking for/needed. The house is big so each of our kids had their own space, the common areas are also big and can accommodate everyone very comfortably. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to make meals. The garage has multiple bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, coolers and snorkeling gear. But what surprised us the most was how well stocked the house was with paper goods, cleaning supplies and bedding. Every bathroom has a little closet that has additional towels, toilet paper rolls, garbage bags, etc. The kitchen had multiple paper towel rolls, dish soap, dishwasher soap and every other cleaning supply needed. Additionally, all of the sinks, faucets and showers worked amazingly with amazing water pressure and lots of hot water (something that is rare in my experience with house rentals). A couple of things to note. This property does not have air conditioning. The first day when we got there, it was hot inside but we opened all the slat windows, sliding doors and turned on all the ceiling fans and it cooled down pretty quickly. The trade winds definitely help and the flow through the house nicely. Another thing to note is that if you are in a minivan, don’t attempt to park between the posts in the driveway. It is a very tight fit and the driveway is curved so it is very hard to exit. We found it easier to enter from the other side of the property (where the garage is). We truly enjoyed the property and it made our vacation a whole lot better. ##### Jim Z. I booked this house for a 10 day vacation with my husband’s family. We had 6 adults and 2 kids (7 and 3) in our party. The house fit our needs perfectly. There was plenty of room for everyone, lots of beach towels and toys and beach chairs for us to use. The house was very clean with lots of linens and towels and the kitchen was large and well stocked. We really liked having a second fridge in the garage for drinks. Our host, Eric, was very responsive when we had a minor issue with a screen falling out of one of the windows. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would come back to stay again! ##### Stephani S.
