The unit is oceanfront at the end of the complex. The view is amazing. It is a bit on the smaller side, just enough room for 2 people. Parts of the unit could use some updating. There is a washer and dryer but when we tried to wash clothes on our final night it wouldn’t work. Overall it’s an okay place to stay.
Perfect place for our needs, right by the water and close proximity to all parts of the island. Christopher was very helpful for any and all of our needs!
We stayed in sealodge complex before and this condo has a great location with the patio facing the ocean. We enjoyed our stay.
From the issues: the washing machine is only usable on the delicate, the door on dishwasher is hard to close, the shower valve is not fastened and moves a lot. For us this was not a big deal.
We loved staying here, the view was amazing! Appreciated the kitchen for easy meal prep, pleased we were able to do a slightly later check out, bed was comfy for sure. Only suggestions would be the ability to keep the window open a bit more with a wooden rod (shorter rod?) to enjoy listening to the ocean waves. And if we could have disabled the light on the fan (to keep it running at night) that would have been helpful. Hope to be back!
The place could use a little fixing up (tub faucet leaks and the front door lock was finicky), and there was no TP (probably an accident), but overall it was very comfortable and the location and view are fabulous. It had plenty of dishes/cookware and all the beach toys you should need. We loved it.
My wife and I spent 4 nights at the beautiful property. Location was amazing... walk right out of the back door and you're looking at the ocean. AC not needed, plenty of ocean breezes. Unit well equipped. Bed was comfortable. The complex was very quiet and peaceful in the evening. Communication with the property manager was very good. Would definitely stay there again.
Location and views were on point! Ground level was amazing and being at the very end of the community offered a lot of great privacy. Our weather was perfect so the ocean views could not have gotten any better. The unit itself is very outdated. We didn't spend much time there so it wasn't our top priority, but it would have been nice to have a more updated unit, especially for the price. No AC, very weathered/rusted. Something to note, however, there are beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and snorkel gear for your use! I reached out to the owner/property manager before our arrival to see if there were beach items we could use and we were told they weren't sure! We wasted a lot of money on rentals when the unit already had them there. I wish the listing added this to the amenities of the unit. That would have been helpful.
WOW what a location! So blessed to be a guest! The ocean view from the king bed is still fresh in my mind a month later. The local farmer's market was just right, with fresh fruit, local crafts and macadamia ice cream. Bed was good and furniture in great shape.
That said: This place seriously needs a renovation. Like, maybe starting at the waterproofing (to check for mold), replace or renovate the windows and sliding door (which don't); consistent base moldings, a fresh coat of paint (throughout, not portions) a new shower fixer mixer (which doesn't come out at you when you turn it on), you get the idea. Its just real tired of being a rental and needs to be loved.
Ok so big thanks to Chris the property manager who answered our call when we realized we had not received the code to enter, then showed up quick and made the garbage disposal operate ... and tighten up the toilet seat so we could sit without sliding. You made us laugh and all was good.
Look, I'm not trying to step on anyone's dream here. It is what it is, and in the end, it is in Hawaii!
Great locatiom, wonderful views. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes. Nice selection of beach gear.
Unit was a little on the dirty side. Spider webs all around the ceiling. Maybe it sat for a while between rentals.
Dishes were also dirty still. This is most likely because the dishwasher is very old, and does not work very well. The racks are rusted and missing the majority of the pegs. It also does not work well with the detergent pods. We ended up hand washing everything we used.
The screens and the sliding door/sliding screen door are not very secure. It becomes a problem when the windows need to be open due to no a/c (that's not a problem with the nice breeze). The owner was quick in responding to concerns about the sliding door not locking, but a permanent solution will need to be found.
The location and views were great. What we did not like:- the windows were dirty- there was no hair dryer and we ended up having to buy our own- there was nobody to answer the phone when we called. Had to send an email to which they responded the next day.- the shower did not work properly - the knob kept spinning.- the code for the door lock worked, but had to try several times because it seemed old/rusted.
Super private and back door walks out to nearly private lawn on top of cliff. The door lines up perfectly with the next landfall: KODIAK ALASKA!!!
Whale circus daily!
Love this space.
Loved pur stay at Sea Lodge, again. Super convenient. Nice improvements ( sofa, dining).
* just a note that the owners closer looked like it had the lock jimmied at some point, and the tub faucet is loose at the wall conncetion; might become a problem, but worked just fine)
Thank you!
The condo was in a great location with beautiful views. Situated on a cliff above the water allowed refreshing breezes when opening the windows, no need for AC. Everything was very comfortable. I would suggest a thorough cleaning to remove webs and bugs in corners of rooms and windows. Overall our stay was very good and we'd stay again. Mahalo!
I come to Hawaii every year, and am an experienced guest. This is my first bad review. 850 for 2 nights and as soon as I come in, there is a broken ceramic vase all over the bathroom floor. My biggest complaint is the unit floor was so dirty you could feel the sand and dirt as you walked around. Picked up my foot and the bottom of it was visibly filthy from walking on the floors there. Saw some cockroaches too but that’s pretty typical for Hawaii, so I can forgive that. Brought the floor issue up to the host, Geri, she said “Sorry nobody taught my cleaning lady how to clean!!!” And resolved nothing on my end. The washing machine didn’t work, and the shower looks absolutely disgusting just permanently. I thought maybe it was in need of a clean also, but nope, just in need of full replacement, especially given the price of the place. If you rent here, just hope nothing goes wrong, because the host won’t really care if it does. The view was cool… but I’m sure you can find a view with a more accommodating owner who will actually give a hoot if you are dissatisfied.
We enjoyed our stay at Seagate#1. The bed was great ( I really liked the animal sheets). The shower was great and the view was spectacular. We could see and hear the ocean from every room. We left the window slightly open so I could hear the ocean all night. There were plenty of pots and pans and dishes. That said, the place needs some updating. All in all, our condo met all of our needs. The location was good with lots of walking trails and next to the Princeville Center with a grocery store, shops, and lovely restaurants. It is close to two botanical gardens and to Hanalei.

Location and property are gorgeous - condo is falling apart
From the half busted windows and screens, dirt film on top of the fridge to the weird “smell” - this condo is filled w mold. Lost our screen from our bedroom twice, which was already ripped. The location is absolutely gorgeous and condo views are amazing. Invest the money and gut this place because it needs it.
We enjoyed our 4 nights at this beautiful location overlooking the ocean. We highly recommend it, though have two suggestions for improvement. 1) We saw no way to turn off the fan over the dining table while keeping the light on. There seemed to be a remote for the fan, but it did not work. 2) It would help if the light over the bathroom sink was much brighter. Otherwise, everything else was great.
