In nicer weather there are lots of spots to sit and gather outside. Communication with hosts was easy. We had one minor issue which was resolved promptly. The kitchen is very well equipped (although there was no microwave) and our hosts even provided a Christmas tree. We did have a problem with the house, but it was dealt with very thoroughly and quickly by the hosts. Picton is five minutes away by car and is well equipped for everything that a tourist would need. Perfect for large groups…8 spacious bedrooms and lots of sleeping space. So many areas to hangout together or have quiet chats inside and in the outdoor areas. A very well equipped kitchen….we lacked for nothing. Only 8 of us and we still appreciated having two ovens and two refrigerators. It is located close to Picton and only a 15 minute drive to Sandbanks, many wineries and breweries.
