The hotel was lovely and the staff were excellent. Our room was not ready, but the staff stored our luggage so we could take a planned winery tour (across the street!) and lunch. I highly recommend dinner at the restaurant - the food was excellent and the service attentive

The breakfast is the biggest shortcoming overall. 1. The breakfast time is only until 10 a.m. Who will get up that early? If this hotel aims to serve wealthy guests, wealthy guests do not get up that early. Extend it to 11 a.m. or at least 10:30 a.m. 2. The breakfast quality is quite poor, with very limited food. Neither the $20 nor the $40 option matches the hotel level. None of the five-star hotels or Relais & Châteaux member hotels has such a poor breakfast. 3. Mark the room view on Expedia and other websites, so clients will clearly know whether the room faces the city view or the alley. The view is the biggest selling point of this hotel, and there is a huge difference between the alley view and the city view, but it is not clearly explained in the listing. This is very important for first-time guests. Good things: There are several good staff members. The mattress is quite comfortable, and the minibar is all included.

The room was very nice, but run down. we had a garden view. There was no garden and the windows were blacked out, it was claustrophobic. It was 39 degrees outside. The air conditioner did not keep room cool. The breakfast room amd lounge were beautiful.
