Here, the beauty of traditional arches and intricately decorated ceramic tiles blends seamlessly with a simple, airy atmosphere. Its minimalist yet elegant style offers breathtaking panoramic views, with a privileged perspective over the sea, Positano, and Capri. Every corner of the house has been designed to make the most of the unforgettable sunsets, which can be admired from its two terraces that seem to float between the sky and the sea. To reach Casa Sunset, you’ll walk about 400 meters along a picturesque path, alternating steps and winding trails—a quintessential feature of Praiano that adds to the charm of the experience. The house is not accessible by car, but this makes the stay even more special, immersing you in the serene beauty of the village and its stunning vistas. The house is laid out on a single floor and includes: • Entrance through a panoramic patio, equipped with a barbecue and outdoor dining table, set beneath a canopy of bougainvillea • Water front panoramic terrace, with Seafront panoramic terrace with sun loungers, garden seating area, and an outdoor shower • Living room with dining area, sofa bed (sofa size 160x190) and a dining table for six people • Fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher • 2 double bedrooms (160x190) with access to the panoramic terrace • 2 bathrooms with showers, one with access from the master bedroom Casa Sunset is located just above the famous San Gennaro Church, along the path leading to the Sentiero degli Dei. The quickest way to reach the house is from the upper part of Praiano, where a 400-meter trail with around 70 steps will bring you to the entrance. Alternatively, you can reach the center of Praiano via a staircase of about 200 steps. A private parking space is available about 650 meters from the property for a fee. Alternatively, you can park in public spaces about 200 meters away. A porter service can be arranged upon arrival for a fee. NOTE: During the high season, parking may be especially difficult to find. We recommend booking the parking space in advance to ensure availability. The view from the porch is as amazing as it looks in the photos. There are 230 steps to get down to the main road so be sure to wear sturdy sneakers but the restaurants in Praiano are worth it. The outdoor terraces were absolutely stunning—sunsets over the water each evening were unforgettable. The home was very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Communication with SMAAC was excellent—clear, timely, and helpful throughout our stay. Although there were quite a few stairs to reach the unit, we honestly didn’t mind—it added to the charm and authenticity of staying in a beautiful hill town on the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! There was construction going on in the unit below during our stay, which we weren’t aware of ahead of time. Being positioned midway between Positano and Amalfi made it convenient to visit both. Yes, there are a lot of steps - but that’s typical in Praiano. Having two furnished terraces and a washing machine was a big plus. The house could use a little sprucing up but it’s comfortable and spacious. The pictures don’t do the beauty of the sunsets justice. We had a great time going down the steps to the market every day and gathering fresh food and wine for a dinner and relaxing evening. The location away from busy Positano in Praiano is perfect for those wanting to enjoy the Amalfi Coast without all the other tourists. ##### Evan P. We had an incredible stay at Casa Sunset! The views are unbelievable; the house is adorable and spacious; and Norman our host was SO helpful!! He organized transportation and a boat day for us and helped make my friend’s birthday special. This property is absolutely worth the stairs(in general Praiano has a lot of stairs but that makes it fun)! You get a great workout and makes the views even better :). The apartment was absolutely perfect!!! Two terraces overlooking Positano and the Mediterranean Sea. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms comfortable, clean, a pleasure to be in. The host was Magnificent!!! Helped us with reservations at a beach club - 10 min taxi drive25 min walk down to the water. Found the perfect 40ft boat for us to rent and enjoy lunch on Capri. Helped with parking and any questions we had within moments.
