This hotel was beautiful, incredibly clean and the location could not be beat! I’d recommend to anyone traveling to Prague. The ONLY downside is somewhat pricey water in the room minibar.

It is located in the heart of Prague in the Old Town walking distance to the center and to all historical places. There are a lot of great restaurants near by and shops. I enjoyed my stay and had great time in Prague! Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is visiting!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is very clean and tidy and well maintained, location is excellent right in the centre of the old town. Room wasn’t suitable on check in due to a disability, I was upgraded to a perfectly situated room the following day, staff managed it very well. If I return to Prague I will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our junior suite at the Iron Gate. It was well appointed spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and honored every request. The breakfast was very well done with a wide selection for all tastes. We look forward to our return to Prague and the Iron Gate.

The place was very pretty and quiet. The breakfast was good but could’ve been better tasting and more varied. With the exception of one outstanding housekeeping person ( young attractive blonde woman) , the staff as a whole were cold, indifferent, begrudgingly helpful and off putting. It left an unwelcoming vibe that detracted substantially from what we had hoped was to be a top rate experience.

Excellent place to stay in a perfect location! The rooms are spacious and luxurious. Breakfast at the Deer restaurant is definitely worth adding on! 2 minute walk to the astronomical clock and Old Town Square. Price was certainly reasonable for the convenience and comfortable stay.
