Run down and not very clean

The hotel's location is great. It's situated in a very beautiful old building (if I had to guess built around 1910 or so). But unless you get their more expensive rooms, everything seems old, dirty and run down. I was disappointed.

Today's appearance hotel gained due to a sensitive reconstruction and architectural design. Now 20 out of our 28 rooms are after the reconstruction made 2017 and the rest should be done till the end of this year. I fully agree with you it was necessary . A risky & night mare stay at the hotel

My booking number was 8057756789260.I had a horrible stay at the hotel. The hotel was antique type in a very old fashioned building.Though we are not very about this all we were managing stay. The real shock came at next day morning when I had a fall from the chair in breakfast room just when I was about to seat. Afterward I saw the nut bolt which fixed the leg of the chair with seat had given up. I had a shock due to the fall and found my back is paining. This shows how inferior quality furniture they use keeping safety of the guest at stake. I was lucky that I didn't get a hit on my head. I have the report of the incident given by the hotel. Further they tried to console me by saying they will give me one night charge free. But to my utter surprise they charged more per night then the rate was promised during booking 97.49 per night but the hotel changed me 140 euro per night including taxes.They said this was the rate for 2 nights as per booking but to console me they had changed me for 1 night. Therefore I request your comment & further suitable action on this.I had attached the photo of accident report with this on your option of uploading photo of stay for your reference

Dear Mr. Mitra, Greetings to India and once again thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to read your stay was not up to your expectation. As I told you already we would like to apologise that you fall from the chair in our breakfast room. The reconstruction of the entire breakfast room was done January 2017 and the chairs are brand new and made upon our special request by Czech company with long tradition. We always prefer to support local companies and we also take products mostly from local farmers. My colleagues in the breakfast offered to you immediately to call the ambulance which you refused. You also refused to visit hospital in the evening when the doctor proposed that you should go to x-ray. As per your health&safety procedure we filled the accident report. We offered you 1st night free as a compensation for this accident which you kindly accepted. It is our fault and we should check the chair better. You also speak with Expedia customer care line to explain you that the rate for the rest of the nights is correct. There cant be made further discount from already discounted rate. I really wish you have better experience from Prague and you will come back to our beautiful city. Best Regards, Martina Lazarova, GM

Ok hotel clean, room was creepy.

Clean rooms, good location. Room felt a bit creepy. Wasn't comfortable. I left my necklace in the room on the dresser and called after we checked out, but housekeeping said they didn't find it. Disappointed. Also beware of high car service fees. Don't believe what reception tells you about car prices.

very goog hotel for a family

Very good to stay with a family. The breakfast was excellent and the atention service much better. The people that work in the front desk are fantastic.

I would like to inform you that we will be reconstructing the windows during this fall improving the noise isolation from the street. Great place to stay

We had a large suite with three bedrooms and a rooftop patio. It had lots and lots of space. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Best breakfast we have had in Europe!

Amazing hotel good value for money.

We stayed in this hotel from 24th July till 29th July. The room which we booked were Superior Suite with free breakfast. The hotel is 30 mins away from the Praha airport. We reached very late due to our flight delayed. The staff were very warm & friendly.The room is very secure they gave us two cards one for me and another for my husband. Use the card to enter the room. On entering the room once you close the door you can lock the door securely by pressing the button which locks the door. We tested this by accident one day when my husband had gone down and we had locked the door and he was trying to enter the room with his card. But he couldn't. This is how we came to know that doors are very secure. The room are very spacious and beds were made daily. The rooms were cleaned daily as well. Bathrooms and toilet were cleaned and kept in good condition. For the first time we thought this hotel is very good and has maintained its standards. The room had kitchen which included sink and dish washer and dishwasher tablet or cleaning liquid to clean any pots or pans used although we didn't use anything. Breakfast is served from 07:30 - 10:30. We usually use to go down around half 9. The cooked breakfast is fantastic you can ask for scrambled eggs or fried eggs or poached eggs or even an omelette. There was selection of cereals, fruits and vegetables as well. Children have option of waffles or pancakes. The breakfast room was busy but staff were very helpful. highly recommended

Location and service

Great hotel, great location, excellent service, but the only negative thing was there was not A/C unit for the front second room in which we slept in and had the kids sleep in our portable Air conditioned room.

Rest and go

I was out mostly on day 2, while was resting on first day. Have to take Uber to nearby shopping and not expensive. Staffs were helpful. Didn't like the breakfast as both days similar food, and not apetizing. Luckily did not take breakfast option. Lots of choices around the corner.
