Not the best location
This is not in the best place unless you want to be near the Irish pub.which is over the road. It is a little walk away from the nearest tube station (Mustek) and within easy walking distance of shops like Zara and Mango, but not that near any of the main sights. The nicest part is the old town, 15 - 20 minutes walk away. This hotel is near Wenceslas Square, but this is a bit disappointing as i's not a square at all, just a long main road. We really liked the old town, (wonderful old buildings, street performers, restaurants etc,) and Charles Bridge. This is a metro stop from Mustek tube station or quite a walk on those cobbled streets. The Jewish Quarter is also interesting, again quite a walk away.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, staff friendly, but does not look as grand as in it's pictures. Our room was facing an inner courtyard so probably quieter than those on the street. The room was a decent size. The bathroom was clean and well provided with toiletries. There were also robes and slippers. There is a safe and mini bar/fridge, and tea and coffee. There is a very poor hairdryer in the bathroom. There was air con but very rattly and not very powerful. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was OK, not a great selection but the cooked food was hot and the pastries were nice. I would probably not stay here again, only because of the location, the hotel itself was good.
