Fabulous hotel close to all attractions

Posted 12-May-2017
I carnt rate this hotel enough. It is clean well maintained, friendly and popular. The room we had, had a spectacular view of the castle. In a quiet area but close to all attractions. The old square is a 5 minute stroll and most things lead on from there. There are a few bars and restaurants near by, try the Irish pub for food brilliant, and a money change just next door. The breakfast was good too. Over all i give it 5 out of 5.There was lots of toiletries, and the cocktails are wonderful, i think i should stop now....

Dear Guest, thank you for this kind review and especially for the nice comment on our staff, we appreciate it. 3min walk is meant to the Wenceslas square which is one of the two main squares in Prague. To the Old town square its 15min by slow walk, thats right. We will be happy to see you in our hotel again. Tereza Aubrechtova

Good location but uncomfortable, noisy a expensive

Posted 03-May-2017
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the decoration is old, the walls are not sound proof so we could hear every single noise from the next door rooms and from the rooms upstairs. The cleaners start the cleaning services about 7am and talk to each other very loudly and make a lot of noise early in the morning, so unpolite and annoying. The breakfast are very simple and basic for a 4,5 stars hotel, not worth! Will never come back there again.

Dear Lu and David, thank you for your review and comments about our weak points. We will definitely talk with the housekeeping ladies about disturbing guests in the morning, I understand this had to be annoying and we apologize for that. Thank you as well for your comment about breakfast choice. With best regards Tereza Aubrechtova

Hotel is on right location

Hotel mini bar is very expensive. I really don't like when they charge for bottle of water. One bottle of water should be free and that is free in most of hotels.

Central hotel

Posted 26-Apr-2017
Room was at back of annex looking out at rooftop and main hotel windows quite a dark room.when I closed curtains they were 6 " above the ledge ! When I complained I was told the weren't blackout curtains it would have defeated the purpose if they were.we were moved to another room which was smaller certainly not a superior room. It's a central hotel with nice breakfast. We would not go back again.

Dear Susan, let me thank you for your time to write this review. We are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the room view as same as with the curtains. We could take advantage for your other comment about the curtains lenght to the future. Despite these inconveniences we hope you enjoyed your stay with us. With best regards Tereza Aubrechtova

Rules of the Hotel.

Posted 26-Apr-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Customer service and honesty.
Location: Good location.
We booked and paid trough EXPEDIA for two adults and one child. During the check inn the staff told to us that we have to pay 50 euro each day for the additional bed and breakfast for my child because he is 13 year old.We were very surprised as we though the child was included in the booking. Noting: with the same booking arrangement we did not have any issue other Hotels in Europe.. After disappointing conversation with hotel staff they reduced to 40 euro but we had to pay before we could occupy our room.

Dear Alizia, let me first thank you for your time to write this review. We are very sorry to hear about the inconvenience by your arrival. Unfortunately children in the hotels are meant 2-12 years and are charged 50 euros per night. We hope that you enjoyed your stay with us despite this problem and will be happy to welcome you back on your next journey to Prague. Tereza Aubrechtova

Close to all major attractions

Posted 24-Mar-2017
Pros: Location, breakfast
Cons: Give their customers who smoke a special area to smoke outside the hotel but away from the hotel main entrance
Location: Wenceslas square, old town, anatomical clock, Charles bridge, prague castle, new town, vysehrade castle, many shopping centres
In the middle of all major attractions, very convenient whether by foot or public transport. Standard hotel decor but clean rooms and helpful staff, which is what we are looking for anyway, as we are here sightseeing rather than to go to the gym or the spa. As off Wenceslas square on a side road, enough people walking around even late at night to make you feel safe but away from the crowd. Good buffet breakfast selection with hot and cold meat, pastries, fruits, etc, can also order fried egg or omelette and bacon and ham if you want them cooked specifically for you. Long breakfast hours 06:30 to 11:00 weekdays, which is a big bonus too. Easy public transport to and from airport. Only thing to recommend to the hotel to improve customer experience is to create a smoking area on the side of the hotel as although it is a no smoking hotel, people are smoking right at the entrance so you often have to go through cigarette smokes when you go out or get into the hotel.
