Beautiful property, and a great location, the only drawback was the constant yelling of the drunks all night, every night. You can sleep from 2200 to about midnight, then maybe 0400 to 0700, that’s when construction started.

The apartment was in a queit location. Once you got your bearings it was conenient and with walking distance to the tram metro and buses. Also easy access to dining options as well as to department store, groceries store as well as tourist gift shops.

Pros Location, location, location! Our windows were to the street and it blocked outside noise pretty well. If you need a nail file, the toilet paper could serve as one. Decent breakfast (wish there were more fresh fruits). Everything around the old town square is ridiculous expensive, but this hotel puts you in the middle of everything. We stayed in the Apostolic suit room and it was pretty big, but uncomfortable. It had a view of the square and clock. Because it was one of the most expensive rooms, I had higher expectation. Cons No elevator in the building we stayed (there are two buildings). The bathroom was very small and not up to date. Two people couldn’t fit in the shower, toilet closet door was close to knees. Prices for drinks inside the mini fridge were high. Couch in the room is uncomfortable, didn’t care much for the bed. During our last breakfast, we showed up and there were no plates, I tracked down a employe and asked for it, get to eggs, there is none, I go track another employee, get to the table no forks, go look around the buffet, no forks. For a third time I go track someone down, only this time she seemed very bothered with my request. Little things like that takes any positive away. I wouldn’t stay here again. You pay for location and that’s about it.

좋은뷰의 방이라면 추천.
위치는 최고. 방은 작고 낡았으나 깨끗. 천문시계탑 바로 앞이라 큰기대를 했으나 배정받은 방은 사방막힌 옆건물 주방과 비둘기다니느 최악의 뷰. 4박 머물며, 창문 단 한번 안염. 몇박이라도 방재배정요청했으나 거절. 가족보기 민망해쓰예

Amazing location
We absolutely loved this hotel! The location is perfect for visiting the Christmas Market on the Old Square and the views are amazing! The room was beautiful and comfortable and the Mozart Cafe was wonderful with great food. The breakfast buffet was good as well.

Grand Hotel Praha is in the old town area and opposite the astronomical clock.So if you have breakfast at the right time, you can watch the apostles march in the clock up close:). The services of the young receptionist and bellboy were amazing. However, the receptionist who checked us in was unfriendly. They promised a pickup, but they never came. Remember, there is no direct drop-off in front of the property. you have to drag your boxes across teh cobbled stones. We were provided an apartment a few metres away and had all the facilities. It was old but really clean and well-kept. It was a big property.

Absolutely amazing experience… we stayed in room 100A and it was a great experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Right across from the astronomical clock but completely quiet. We will definitely visit again in the future!

Perfect Location for Christmas Markets
This hotel is AMAZING. We splurged on this hotel because of the location. We could see the clock RIGHT OUTSIDE our window. We opened the window at night and enjoyed a glass of wine in the room while listening to the enchanting musical Christmas tree. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was immaculate. The only warning is that if you drive a car into Prague, the parking is very difficult so be aware that you need to take this into consideration and let the staff know you are arriving before you get there. They will tell you where to meet the porter and help you with your luggage. There is no on-site parking.

Best location, very nice breakfast and most staff very nice and helpful. For us unfortunately we were given a very small, 2 twin beds room with no windows when we arrived. We paid for a superior room with a king or queen bed. When we checked in we were told that because we checked in at 6pm they gave our room away. ????? The next morning we received what we paid for. They also promised that our bill would be adjusted, but upon check out it was not done. We would like to see some sort of resolution/refund for the first night. Other than that the hotel and staff was very nice

Our room had a great view overlooking the clock and square. Only complaint were all the stairs getting up to the room but it is an old building and there’s no elevator for luggage. I would stay again though!

Excellent hotel in the heart of old town! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and had great views on old town square, and the bed was comfortable as well! The breakfast was delicious every morning, all in all a great stay!

I had booked 4 superior rooms. When we got there, the room we got was on the 3rd floor, no elevator, with the option of giving us a better room the next day , it never came to pass. At night the temperature was up to 27 C, Reception didn’t know what to do. They gave me the key to a room which was already occupied!! Reception staff was ‘very sorry’ but no one could help us. Breakfast was good and wholesome Sorry that I went there, was very disappointed Location was excellent

This property is right in the center of everything, it is a really nice place. Our room was not operational the first day and had to stay in the building next door, but our bags were moved there and back. I really enjoyed staying here, and would highly recommend it. It is in the center of everything so expect a lot of people.

The location at old town square across from the astronomical clock is amazing! Our room overlooked the square and was furnished with antiques. The breakfast buffet was vast with many choices. The staff was amazingly helpful. My fiancé had a sudden medical condition and the staff always answered my request for assistance. Note; although there is an elevator do not think this hotel is wheelchair accessible. A taxi cannot get near the door and there are steps from the door to the lobby. Also, the cobblestones make pushing a wheelchair impossible.

This hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location: facing the Old Town Square in Prague and within walking distance of so many historic landmarks and tourist sites. This is definitely the best feature of the hotel, but it means that the hotel can be a bit noisy at night. The hotel itself is very old and charming, and the rooms are spacious and clean. However, if you have problems with walking and climbing stairs, and if you need to use a lift for your luggage, then do not book this hotel as it will be very inconvenient. The reception is located a few doors away from the hotel and there is no lift inside the hotel. Instead, there are many, many stairs to climb up and down to get to the rooms. The staff are not friendly or helpful, perhaps because I did not speak Czech. If you are elderly or have problems with mobility, you will definitely struggle with accessing rooms in this hotel. I mostly enjoyed my stay here but probably wouldn't stay here again.

My wife and I wanted a hotel in the grand old style of central Europe. Grand Hotel Praha really exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was reasonably affordable, elegant, and quiet despite being directly opposite the Astronomical Clock on the old City Square. Check out the suite in the photos on GHP's website, it's amazing. The staff were most helpful, particularly with arranging our 3:30 am departure for the airport! Breakfasts were in a convenient buffet style but very elegantly presented. We found a couple of restaurants right on the square that were comfortable, not terribly busy, and with excellent food and service. Grand Hotel Praha is in the most central of locations, and yet it never felt crowded even though it's feet away from one of the largest tourist destinations (the Astronomical clock) in the city.

We didn’t get the sparkling wine. The shower floor was slippery and needs a mat. the upper window in the bathroom had no lock… unsecured!! One lamp did not work…. But, the staff was outstanding and helpful. The location was perfect. The place is big!

A nice hotel overall. The building is old and a little quirky but it has character. It was very warm and humid during our stay and the A/C was very marginal. Character... The staff was very kind and willing to help.

I had the top room 222 and liked it. lots of space but just me traveling. watch head on inclined ceilings. you're right in front of the astronomic clock. the orbitz map link didn't work, i typed name into google maps and it had right spot. Decent breakfast in am to get you going. staff was super friendly.

I liked the location and it’s convenience to other sites. However, that’s the only thing I can rate positively. When we arrived, we were placed in a room with a broken air conditioner. It was hot. When we called to ask for assistance about the a/c, that’s when we were told that they knew it was broken. That’s as far as the conversation went until a few hours later we were moved to another room. The new room was a bit cooler, a lot smaller and the bed was extremely hard. The VIP status, unfortunately we didn’t notice anything in that regard.
