Loved the hotel. A beautiful, original place that takes you back in time and in my opinion will always beat a modern hotel which can often lack charm and atmosphere. Great if you love all things vintage especially Art Deco and history. The Cafe (restaurant/breakfast room) is amazing visually and the thought that the likes of Franz Kafka dined there made it feel extra special that for a short time we were part of this history. We had an executive room (myself and my daughter) which we found big enough for us. Exceptionally clean, bathroom with shower, bath and toilet and also a separate toilet which was handy. Previous reviewers have said it can be noisy (trams) but we really didn't notice it and our room was on the 1st floor. All the staff were very professional, helpful and polite. The breakfast was fantastic, hot selection - fried eggs, scrambled, boiled and omelettes, continental selection (the pate was really, really tasty), fruit, youghurt, porridge. We also ate there on our first night and it was a lovely meal (I had wild boar and my daughter rabbit) and we would recommend an evening meal there at least once if you can as the prices are very reasonable.
