This resort has not been unkept and is definitely not a 5 star place to stay, maybe 20 years ago but not now. The food was bad. Effectively blaming the guests and putting the onus to fix the problem on the guests of their own property. There were so many things they could have done to resolve the issue smoothly and retain us as their customers but they failed miserably to the point where they actually gave misleading information about the room availabilities. Expedia managed to clear up the incidence for us after just one call. Thank you. The rooms, facilities and service is great - dont expect there to be anything else close by (shops, restaurants, etc.), for that you have to drive. You can rent a scooter, or, hire a driver for that. We stayed for 3 nights which was ideal, staying for longer would make me want to do something more active - but thats my personal taste.
