"GM was super nice and friendly. Gave recommendations on local restaurants and was very attentive to needs of guests. Made conversation and was very welcoming when we arrived and the check in was smooth without any issues. Room was clean and comfortable."

"Tom and Sue are excellent hosts. If you love American history, this is the place to stay. The house is very well appointed with historical artifacts. It is a great jumping of point for all that Williamsburg (and Yorktown/ Jamestown) has to offer. We stayed 4 nights and it was well worth it. Breakfast was great every morning. I loved that Tom (and Sue, when she was available) would sit with us at breakfast. They are great conversationalists."

"Friendly staff and clean room. It wasn't an issue for us, but the bathroom door did not shut. That could definitely be awkward for some people. I saw some notices on the walls about strict polices that were not mentioned online, including no more than 2 people per room and no guests, but it wasn't an issue in our case since we just needed a place to crash for the night. The exterior could use some sprucing up. There was a shopping cart full of bricks and a few mattresses just chilling out front. Overall, worth it for the low price point for our 1 night stay."
