"We were welcomed at check in. I like the relaxed setting: sitting at a desk and chatting. Comfortable room with the usual amenities. I like the wood floor instead of a carpet. Nice place. "

"Our first trip to Ouray. We enjoyed our stay at Box Canyon Lodge. It looked updated, nice decor and comfortable bed. We had our pet with us so we were given a pet friendly room on ground level. We could see it had been stayed in by other pets because of scratches and chewed spots on the furniture. I also noticed the flooring was a bit soiled. Our pet accidentally knocked his travel bowl of water on the floor and when I wiped it up the napkin was very dirty. Other areas of the room were very clean like the bathroom and higher surfaces. Clean bed, sheets and pillows. It had all the amenities we like in a room and it was walking distance to shops and restaurants. We are already planning to return next year with family."
