"This place was fantastic in every way. Clean, modern, spacious and centrally located. We were there to take the train and her apartment is 12 minutes walking, right near the main Basilica Plaza. We had everything we needed and even received excellent tips and advice on which stops and hikes to do in the area from Isabella, who was such a wonderful, kind hearted host. "This property was a great find! About a 9 minute walk from the train station. The host provided excellent check in instructions with videos. She was very responsive to communication throughout our stay. She certainly went above and beyond. The property is brand new, thoughtfully furnished and well stocked with everything you’d need in the kitchen. Lots of options for drinks and food only minutes away and a grocery store is steps away."

"We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Laudinella. Rabat at reception was particularly helpful and welcoming, and Fatima, who was on duty at night, was lovely. Another receptionist in the evening was less helpful. The transfer service was good, which was useful as the hotel is quite far from the town centre. The information about the amenities could have been clearer. At reception, we were told that the Jacuzzi and gym cost extra. The public facilities offered as an alternative were around ten minutes away and did not suit our needs. Overall, a lovely hotel and an enjoyable stay, but clearer information about the facilities and friendlier service from the restaurant staff would improve the experience."

"Nice location and clean rooms with a balcony. Had partial views of the water which I wish we were higher but is what it is. Staff was pleasant but very basic on the things to do. Simply pointed to the center to walk to infront or to the left to the mountain. Would have loved a little more insight. Thank goodness for Google. this time of the year not much going on there. Very beautiful tho."

"What a wonderful gem of a hotel. The location was incredible, close to the train station and close to restaurants. Lots of little shops and cafes close by. The check-in process was fantastic, and the lady at the reception recommended some great restaurants in the area. The room was everything we could have wanted, and even had a washing machine if you have time to freshen up your clothing before taking the train. Would 110% stay at this hotel again when taking the train into Switzerland from Tirano."
