Owner was close by and so responsive and accommodating. We had a clogged toilet that he was able to fix within hours. House was very well stocked and a perfect location. In Portsmouth, there is so much to do, so much access to beaches, Maine, with water everywhere…and this house was a good place to have to always come back to. Kids and dog loved the dock and water, kitchen and grill (with view) was well equipped, beds were comfortable (our 16 year old loved the basement room w/ its walk-out). Access to everything was easy by bike, walking or car…kids went out jogging from house too. The owner (who lives nearby) was very kind, generous and attentive (as was appreciated). Yet it is close to the center, within walking distance. Nice restaurants nearby as well. Steve is a great host. He let us check in earlier, stopped by to welcome husband explain things.
