I spent a lot of time on the front porch, watching the neighbors come and go. The bed was really comfy, the water pressure in the roomy shower was super, and the kitchen was very well stocked. It was clean and well equipped. I enjoyed the ease of walking to town through the park, and the on-site parking was a plus. The neighbors are very friendly. The exterior and stairwell need sprucing up (which I understand will happen this year), but you will be pleasantly surprised by the contrast when you enter the apartment. Condo was within walking distance of downtown Portsmouth, Strawbery Banke and Prescott Park. It was close to the old colonial homes near the water and a quick walk over the bridge into Maine. The condo was updated and clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of kitchen appliances and utensil. Market Basket, the local supermarket, was close-by, and Trader Joe's and Whole Foods was in the next town. The nearest beach was a 20 minute drive. Close walking distance to downtown Portsmouth but just far away enough to be in a nice quiet neighborhood. This condo is in an older building. The building itself could use some upkeep but the condo itself is updated and very comfortable. We loved getting to know the neighbors while sitting on the front porch. I would guess that our stay was longer than most but we had everything we needed to make it very comfortable. As another reviewer already stated, a grill would be a nice addition. We were able to walk, ride our bikes everywhere and get to all parts of town easily but at the same time the condo was in a quiet and pretty neighborhood. The back stairway is narrow and may be difficult for some to maneuver. The front stairs, however, were much easier to climb. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. The stocked kitchen was wonderful! Towels were plentiful, though we could have used a few more washcloths – but with the availability of the basement laundry, we were able to remedy that minor inconvenience. One thing we wished we had was access to a grill. The TV/cable was nice, though we didn’t use it often. There was a small assortment of games, playing cards, and puzzles available. The office was well stocked with maps and pamphlets of area attractions that were very helpful and much appreciated. Location, Location, Location. You can’t find a better location if your visit centers around the Portsmouth area. The house in located in a kid & pet friendly neighborhood. It is a short 5-10 min walk from Market Square and the many dining, shopping, park areas. We enjoyed some beautiful gardens and free music in the park. We were a short drive from area beaches. Jim, Jeanne, and their caretaker, Carol, were pleasant and easy to work with. Thumbs up to this property. ##### Nan C. We were away with another couple and didn't feel cramped at all. There was coffee, teas and other goodies already stocked for us. Everything was immaculate. The front porch was a nice treat to sit down in the morning and have coffee on. We would defiantly stay here again. ##### Jenna V. In the short time we stayed there it was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Location is a plus and provided us with access to everything we wanted to do and friends we visited.
