"Everyone was very friendly, the room was cozy, and the breakfast was hot and lots of variety."

"My stay was horrible and staff didnt care. It took 15 minutes for night clerk to tespond to my calls to check in. He told me he was helping a guest in a room but came down hallway chewing a mouth full of food. Room was filthy. Lights didnt work. Bed linens were not changed. No coffee or breakfast as advertised. When i requested additional coffee packets night clerk told me i got was in the room. Front doors were locked after i checked in. That was super scary. Desk vlerk in morning was on phone on a personal call when i went to check out and continued conversation with me standing in front of her. The parking lot is full of debris and poor lighting. Overall i pretty.much would have been more comfortable and safe if i had stayed on my car instead. I seriously advise you not to stay there!"

"We love Portsmouth--so walkable, such interesting galleries and restaurants and more. And we always stay at the Hotel Portsmouth. Great location, free parking, great rooms, great breakfast. This time we paid a little extra for the upgrade to a Superior King and felt it was well worth it. Even though we're just two people, the extra room--and two separate seating areas--mattered a lot."

"10/10 stay! Very excellent breakfast selection, everything in the room was comfortable. Employees were very helpful and friendly! If I had to critique something, it’d be the size of the bed pillows, seemed kinda small for a king bed. Would absolutely stay again!"

"We didn't cook during our stay but it was helpful to have a kitchen with fridge and microwave for kids' snacks and leftovers. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed use of the pool and a late checkout. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!"
