This oversized home on a large lot offers plenty of parking and space for the entire crew. At times it was the town post office, a speak easy and a Tavern. 7 rooms comfortably sleeps 14 guests with 2 full and 2 half baths. Great outdoor space with patio, grill fire pit and corn hole! Equipped with pack n play, monitors, high chair and more! Centrally located on the island. Walk to grocery store, 5 min walk to beach. The Space: This space is ideal for family and friends looking to gather and relax! Fun fact, from its beginnings in the early 1660s it was once a Tavern, a Public House, an Inn and the town Post Office. Plenty of space for parking and gathering outside. The property has large rooms throughout, wide plank original hard wood floors and antique back-to-back fireplaces are on each level. The kitchen has a bee-hive oven which complements his historic charm. It has so much much space and the property itself was beautiful. It was close to Newport but also has many other things close by that we got to do all within a few minute drive. On a very busy road with cars and sirens a constant. Exacerbated by no ac forcing us to keep windows open. That said, linens were clean and luxurious. However one set of towels per person for a multi day stay is not enough. Backyard was spacious and fire pit and grill were good additions. Owner should put in ac to enable windows to stay closed. Everyone sleeping on the main street side of house commented. Very happy to pay premium prices for luxury, but this price point was way too high for accommodations and location. ##### dominique h.
