"We used this cabin as a home base for activities all over the bay area. We did SF on our arrival and departure days, then did things in San Jose and Santa Cruz each day of our stay. The hairpin turns going up and down the mountain are an experience, but the views are so worth it, and enjoying the nature on site was a highlight of our vacation. We loved feeding the chickens, ducks, and geese as well as the koi in the pond, taking walks down what we called the "fairy trail" below the pond, and just sitting and taking in the view. It was so great to have the pantry and bar stocked already so we just had to supplement our chosen snacks like cheese and fruit from the store halfway down the mountain. My only negatives are that it was a little cramped for five people, and the kids complained about the spotty Wi-Fi. I just consider that more encouragement to get outdoors, and we were still able to watch movies and TV together as a family. Highly recommend!"

"This home is in such a beautiful setting. There are neighbors but you feel pretty secluded with the artul gate and fencing. The kitchen is well stocked and there are many lovely details inside and out. Entry and exit were seamless, and we only wished our schedule had allowed to spend more time lounging here! The chairs are perfect for staring up at the canopy above. "

"The house was great - very clean, nice decor and all the amenities. Owner was quick to respond and accommodating. Easy walk to town. Beautiful view from the large picture window in the kitchen (making sunset dinner possible :) Beautiful yard. We had a great stay and I would rent again for any guests coming to town. It’s perfect. "Air conditioning didn’t work. Offered to move us after the second night but we were already settled in our room. Had to ask for housekeeping service multiple times, but they were not detail oriented so I had to ask them to fill lotion bottle. Said they would waive the parking fee at checkout but my card has been charged twice so I’ve had to keep calling them to reverse the charge. Would absolutely never stay here again. Friendly people but not worth the money whatsoever. "

"Parking was easy, right in front. The host checked in but was not intrusive (they live right behind). The room was clean, the kitchen was complete including food you might forget (plus what was left by the last folks). Note that there are no grocery or drug stores nearby, so come prepared"
