We had 5 ppl travelling with us, we had appt 10, had 2 bathrooms. They do not have an elevator, when I had asked about the floor we would be on we were told the 2nd floor. 2nd floor is def not the same as Canada. There were 39 steps, I had my senior parents with me so it was a bit hard for them to go up and down the flight of stairs and I had to carry the heavy luggage's. However, contacting the place was very fast and super responsive so it did make up for it. I would highly recommend this place, but if you have issues with stairs, confirm how many steps to your room. We raised some matters on checkin and they were resolved immediately. The views were great and quality of the apartment was excellent. However to get the great views, means it’s right at the top of the building. Four floors and eight flights of stairs. No lift. So think about the weight of your case ! The chap in the agency we pick the keys up from was fantastic in telling us the best places to visit and eat. We queued for a couple of small typical Portuguese restaurants but it was worth it. It was extremely clean. Having been to other places, I appreciated that I didn't have to do anything upon check out as my cleaning fee covered it. However, I had an issue with Expedia. They confirmed the apartment I wanted as this service has many but they never told me the correct address. Fortunately the correct apartment wasn't far but with cobble stones and steep roads, it wasn't fun with luggage. I didn’t realise how great the location actually was until I arrived. Porto is a compact city but even with that you really are spoiled on the doorstep for food, drink, sights and transport links. The studio itself was clean, modern and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in to date. Incredible light coming through the doors and the shutters were fairly noise cancelling at night. There was even a coffee shop downstairs for my morning double espresso before running the half marathon. Many places are walking distance or there are local train and tram stations in walking distance. We had a great view of the clock tower and there was a small balcony also. Was great hearing the clock tower too. Charming. The cleanliness of the apartment on arrival was exceptional. Particulary liked the glow in the dark emergency exit signs and first aid kid provided. Also was a big bottle of water in the fridge although we purchased at the local supermarket. The only dowside is the many flight's of stairs to the top apartment.
