It was quaint, comfortable, had a GREAT view of the Duoro River, and was close to the attractions in Porto. There was no A/C, but we opened the large balcony doors and there was a fan which cooled it off nicely. Pedro was great to work with when we had a hiccup in our travel plans. It was VERY safe and secure. Because of the historical status there is not an elevator or air conditioning in the building. However we were able to navigate the stairs and a fan kept us very comfortable. The building is lovely and even better than the photos show with so many original features which had been preserved beautifully. Everything you needed for a short stay. There was some road noise but the amazing view more than made up for it. There is no lift so we did struggle a bit with our heavy suitcases (as this was part of a longer trip for us) . There is no designated free parking but we did manage to find a free park space outside without a problem. It is an easy flat walk into Porto and near a tram and bus stop.
