The apartment is about a 10 min walk from the main touristy area. There’s an awesome restaurant/cafe down the street called Suribachi that offers tons of vegan options and a vegan bakery called Odete very close by as well. Lidl also happens to be around the block. Beatriz was nothing but helpful and attentive. She helped carry our super heavy luggage up the stairs which she didn’t have to do but insisted and anytime we had any questions, she responded within a few minutes. The apartment had everything we needed and was so cute! The hosts, Beatriz and Gil were wonderful. They were very responsive to all of our needs and allowed us to store our luggage on the last day while we went on a tour. I will say that our place was a bit noisy early in the morning, once for an alarm that was going off and the second sounded like some construction (constant hammering starting at 7 am).
