The apartment had lots of charm, two patios (one with view of the ocean), and was convenient to the beach and a nice bakery. The host even had a bottle of wine there to welcome us. I’d love to be able to stay there again someday. We did have trouble finding the place based on how the address came up in Google Maps, then more trouble finding the key. Host Wise, however, answered our call quickly and helped us figure everything out. They were very nice and responsive. Before our trip they did send us a form to sign up for extras. That turned out to be unnecessary and we wasted money on reserved parking that we never found. It was very easy for us to find street parking. It was off season, though. Ce qu’il faut savoir c’est qu’il’y’a pas de rideaux occultants, ni de volets, donc le réveil, dans cet appartement très lumineux , est très matinal. We were looking for something that wasn’t touristy but had a great beach, and this was it. 25 mins from the airport, one block from the ocean with beautiful sand dunes and a sandy beach! The ocean swimming is great but definitely on the rougher side, so maybe not great if you have young kids who want to swim. The area feels very quiet and local, so if you don’t speak Portuguese I would recommend bringing your translate app. We loved No Name bar right on the beach, but overall there aren’t any foodie or fine dining options very nearby, just beach snack bars. The apartment itself had just what we needed - it’s modest but has two little terraces for both morning and afternoon sun. If you want to watch something other than local cable, bring an HDMI cord for your laptop! All appliances worked great and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. Lurdes was the person on site who checked us in, she spoke great English and was absolutely welcoming and delightful!!! Overall, I would absolutely stay there again! ##### Emma Hobson F.
