Citybreak Apartments Pátio - Duplex Studio

Set in the Ribeira, Porto's historic riverside quarter and part of its UNESCO World Heritage centre, Citybreak Apartments Pátio brings together a varied collection of studios and apartments in several restored buildings, a few steps from one another on or just off Rua de Mouzinho da Silveira. Whichever one you choose, you will be staying in one of the best locations in the city: the Douro River is about 300 metres away, the Ferreira Borges Market and the Palácio da Bolsa are practically next door, and São Bento Station is 500 metres away.

No two units are quite alike. There are cosy studios for couples, a bright studio with a stunning view of Porto Cathedral, an apartment with its own terrace, duplexes over two floors, a loft decorated with a nod to Porto's traditional azulejo tiles, and spacious apartments for families and groups of up to 10 guests. Some look over the Douro River, the Dom Luís I Bridge or the rooftops of the historic centre, while others are tucked away at the quiet back of their building.

Every unit has free Wi-Fi, a TV, a kitchen or kitchenette with all the essential cookware and a bathroom with a hairdryer, and bed linen and towels are always provided. Many also have air conditioning. It is an easy base from which to explore Porto on foot.

The Ribeira's riverside restaurants, cafés and bars are just a few minutes' walk away, as are the Palácio da Bolsa, the Ferreira Borges Market and Porto Cathedral, while the Clérigos Tower is about a 10-minute walk. Across the Dom Luís I Bridge, the port wine cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia are within easy walking distance. Porto Airport is about 30 minutes away by car, and an airport shuttle can be arranged on request.

This large, open-plan studio accommodates up to 3 guests. Its very high ceiling and two large windows fill the space with natural light, and the windows frame a stunning view of Sé do Porto, the cathedral that crowns the hill of the historic centre — a truly unique outlook. The studio has a comfortable double bed and a mezzanine with a second bed, reached by a sliding ladder. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, a TV and free Wi-Fi, and the bathroom comes with a shower and a hairdryer.

Please note: the mezzanine is reached by a sliding ladder, so it may not suit small children or guests with reduced mobility. The studio is on the 6th floor, and the building has an elevator, reached by one flight of stairs.
