Since we flew and didn’t drive we could’ve used some extra pillows, but that’s literally our only slight issue. The host Jeff was incredibly thorough with a hospitality booklet, he was very responsive to texts, and he and his family supplied everything we could think to need. Quick walk into Cape Porpoise where we enjoyed food and hikes. Quick drive to Kennebunkport as well as Portland and the surrounding area. Lots to do! If you're not going to be right on the water, this is the next best thing. It's a short walk to boating access into the beautiful Cape Porpoise and Stage Island Harbor areas. Also a short walk to great eats at the Pier, Bradbury's and Cape Porpoise Kitchen. And a short drive to the incomparable beach for kids at Goose Rocks. Great location! We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Jeff's house in Cape Porpoise. The house was stunning, crystal clean and had every amenity you could possibly need. Jeff was very responsive to our needs and provided excellent customer service. The location was perfect. We could walk into the cute town and get groceries and/or stop in an upscale deli to get sandwiches, salads, desserts or just a steaming hot cup of coffee.
