We booked the hotel as it was on the beach and had nearby restaurants. However, the food in the hotel was so good we soon upgraded to half board. Check in was easy and Ana on the front desk was great and helped us with booking tours as her local knowledge and contacts were invaluable. We chose a room with a sea view as it is a great view of the beach. Overall a great experience and no hesitation in going back.

Just returned from a lovely 5 nights at the Tivoli Marina Portimao. The apartments are in a great location close to the fantastic beach and with lovely views over the marina from the balcony .Everywhere is kept really clean.Great choice at breakfast. Pool was freezing but our 6 year old still went in. All staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We have stayed here a number of times, and this has become one of our favorite properties in the Algarve. Inside a huge property (3 kms of road separate you from the main entry to the hotel reception) but still a few kms from the beaches and all the buzz. The rooms are very spacious and with an incredible view to the golf course. Great food, brilliant staff, this is much more that what we expected from a 4* property.
