  • Casa Pastrano is located in one of the most beautiful places in the western Algarve, in the holiday resort of Prainha, directly on the cliffs above Alvor with direct access to Trés Irmãos beach. Prainha extends over 35ha consisting of a fantastically laid out, Portuguese village-like, quiet and car-free complex of holiday houses and holiday flats, extensive green areas, small alleys and squares as well as 3 communal pools for the exclusive access of holiday guests. Restaurants, tennis courts, mini-market and a guest-only lift to the beach are available. Fantastic walks along the pine forested cliffs and breathtaking sea views along the coast to Lagos in the west and Praia da Rocha in the east will make your heart beat faster.

    The house is quietly situated in one of the small alleys, there is a roof terrace as well as a terrace leading into the garden. Footpaths lead to the nearby beaches and swimming bays. Cosy and fully equipped, Casa Pastrano offers the perfect setting for a relaxing beach holiday.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Bright, spacious, very clean, very quiet. The estate was very large and sign posts were good, but the occasional map on posts stating you are here would have been helpful, but otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Improvements needed

The location, the house (architecture). The house has great potential, but a general lack of investment is evident. It lacks numerous basic kitchen essentials. There is a dishwasher, but hardly any cutlery or plates (and the ones there are all of different brands and designs) there are no serving utensils, oven dishes, food storage containers, espresso machine, etc. That said, the size of the house and the exceptional Prainha complex make up for it.
