(1,003 reviews) This was my second time staying at this hotel and most certainly won’t be my last!! The rooms are spacious, clean, and luxurious. Also the staff here are amazing! I believe Maria/Marie (I don’t remember exactly) made us feel super welcome and taken care of! I even left behind some belongings by accident next door and another staff member Jasmine went above and beyond to find and secure my things which was extremely nice of her and I thank her deeply for that! Definitely my go-to spot when staying in the city! (670 reviews) The Grove Inn was a comfortable and convenient stay. The room was clean, the bedding was very comfortable, and I slept extremely well. The location was easy to access and worked well for my plans in San Francisco. That said, the overall feel was more simple than elegant, and there was a noticeable room odor that detracted from the experience. While it was perfectly fine for a short stay, it didn’t quite match the ‘boutique’ feel suggested in some reviews. Overall, a decent option if comfort and location are your priorities.
