I wasn't going to waste my time with a reply, but it got the better of me. Yes your kids lost the 2 remotes for the TV and have had to purchase replacements. You left the house in a mess, and we also found a packet of "dope' under one of the chairs out in the back patio. SAY NO MORE

Mr Usmani. Thanks for your review. Thanks for the great location, great lawns and property looks great. The beds are not uncomfortable, they are not $1000 beds but they are adequate for the holiday house. It is adverised as bunk style accommodation, and that's what you get. A brochure with sleeping arrangements was sent to your with other information. You would have known the # of beds in each room. I didn't realise that there was a law re # of beds allowed in a room. The cleaner had a time frame of 3 hours to clean the property before you came, so what if he missed a particle of food in one of the bedrooms. The rooms are not crawling with ants, the only ant problem is in front of the coffee machine in the outback kitchen, you would have noticed, then maybe you didn't, there were about 5 ant bait traps scattered in the outdoor kitchen. I have spoken to the previous tenants who moved out at 11am that day and they assure me they left the BBQ clean , also spoke to cleaner and said he checked it and was absolutelly clean.You say the ovens don't get hot enough. I have had a group from Eden Valley stay every year for the last 5 years, they have 2 qualified chefs who come every year and do the cooking.They love the large commercial oven which is available to them. Tenants have useds the stove top to boil crabs. Your telling me it doesn't get up to maximum heat.. Now we get to the real reason why you gave such a poor rating. After you departed the property the cleaner sent me a photo of a large crack in the wall in the last bedroom. It wasn't there after the last tenants left that morning, I put it to you that one of your children most probably did it mucking around in the room. Your reply was that not so, someone must have come into the room while we wern't there and did the damage. How ridiculous. It cost me $300 to repair. Mr Usmani you are not welcome at Alfies Holiday House ever again. Maybe you could holiday at a property that has 1 bed per room, the latest Harvey Norman appliances, an electric fence so that strange people can not enter and damage walls when your out and about. There are notices in the property to ring me if any problems, thee was the same in the confirmation letter, did you contact me NO. I notice you did the review at 2.48am, you must have had a guilty concience and were unable to sleep. You left the propery on 14 January 2023, you did not put your review in until 21/2 23. Funny this was after I spoke to you about the damaged wall. With love ALFIE

DEAR JOHN: Thanks for the review. Your right it's not 5 star, and I say in my property statement that it's 2 star with a lot of bunk bed accommodation,.regarding the end bedroom with a crack in the wall, this happened the week before Christmas and we have been unable to get a tradesman in the town to fix the problem. Tenants after you also put another crack in the wall, but said they didn't do it. Have used "Fly Man' to spray all bedrooms and covered areas but they are back in a couple of weeks. You never see a spider, but webs keep comming back. A quick brush with a broom would have solved your problem. The table tennis table legs were broken by the tenant before you, we could have dismantled the whole thing but we tried to improvise till new legs were made. They have since been replaced with new legs. The " sports bar" has a darts board, a soccer game for the kids , cricket bats and stumps, soccer ball and other equipment. There is also quoits, and two other games for familys to enjoy. What more do you want. The cleaner has a window of about 3 hours to clean the whole property, sometimes he may miss something . It's not the end of the world. You never mention if you and the 14 other people, including 7 kids enjoyed there stay. Your letter of confirmation of rental mentioned a couple of times if there were any problems then give me a ring. there is also a notice on the coolroom door to ring me if you have any problems. Maybe next time you should book into another property , or the cabins in the caravan park and see how much you have to pay for 14 people and what amenities they have for you to enjoy by yourself. If table tennis bats were broken, give me a ring and would have purchased some more from the shops.. With all the queries you had even before you arriveed at the property I knew that you would be hard to please.

Thank You for your review. As stated in description of house it is not 5 star. There are 23 beds available in the house and back rooms, could you please advise which beds have springs extruding which made sleeping uncomfortable. The quilts and blankets are washed every month. If weren't happy with the quilts there were 15 clean quilts in storage in the 3rd bedroom. The previous guests didn't leave till 12 noon so it there was only a small window of time to clean after last tenant as you were booked in for 3pm. If you weren't happy with house all you had to do was ring me and would have sent someone around to fix the problem. There was rat sack bait under the pizza oven, but never kills the house mouse which has been there for about 3 months. You should have noticed that there are about 4 ant-rid containers at various position on the shelves in the back cooking area,. It doesn't seem to deter them. Can do no more, butter should not be left out at night and if lid was on there would not have been a problem.. Re rangehood in back patio area. have been getting a new rangehood built but has taken over 4 months. Will send you a picture of new one , was installed 1 week ago. Noticed that the fire grids were right up the front of the fire area, they need to be hard up against the back so smoke escapes up flue. I don't supply darts for dartboard as there is a safety hazard if small children get hold of them without supervision. As said before it's a mad scramble to clean the whole property in such a small space of time. As the back patio area is open to the elements it doesn't take long for dust ect to accumulate if you rang me could have sent someone around to fix your problems. Alfie

Thank you for your review. Perhaps if you informed me that you were taking a dog that needed fences I could have advised you of the front fence situation. The "shack" is not 5 star. As you noticed the kitchen area is in the back pergola area and is partly open to the elements so leaves and dust will always be a problem. The Holiday House "Is what it is" Alfie
