Fireplaces are currently not available for guest use. Sea No Evil is a non-smoking house - inside and outside. Bringing a pet (2 dog limit - Strictly Enforced) or want pool heat? Either can be arranged for an additional fee (please note that pool heat will only raise the water temperature 10 degrees above the outside temperature). No events are allowed that are over the occupancy of the house or that require a chaperone. We strictly adhere to a min. age limit. \*The elevator is residential grade and may occasionally experience disruptions. Our staff will do all we can to repair any issues and get the elevator functional again. However, if an elevator repair tech/Company is needed repair times can extend several days due to our remote location. If you have someone in your party with mobility issues please plan accordingly as this amenity cannot be guaranteed. Boats, RVs, and Trailers must be stored inside the garage. There is no overnight parking in the driveway or street. Failure to comply will result in a $500 fine. Naturally, this does not include a few hours to load or unload. Bayou Storage (850-229-8397) is less than 4 miles away and only charges $30 a week as of July 2023 with 24/7 access. It was very clean and well-furnished. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels provided were pristine. I also have to mention that I was shocked that we never saw a single bug inside the home - which is a testament as to how clean and well-cared for the home is. The house was the perfect size for the 7 of us. The property managers at Cape and Coast were extremely easy to connect with, and very responsive. The kitchen was also surprisingly well-stocked with all the necessary cookware, utensils, etc. We were well-informed as to what to expect as far as linens that were provided, and what additional basic supplies that we would need to bring (TP, paper towels, etc.) - which was very helpful. There were plenty of games and puzzles to entertain us on the few rainy days that we had. We had a great stay, the pool was wonderful and the location to the beach was perfect. The only issue I would say was the house next door is under construction, the sawing and hammering early in the morning interrupted with the morning peaceful coffee time starring out at the ocean. However it was nothing to deter renting this lovely place for the week. My family was impressed and would love to rent again if the time was right. This year our children and grandchildren chose Sea No Evil in Port St Joe for our annual beach trip where the beach was our backyard and just a short walk from the house via an adjacent designated path. We had a fantastic week in this beautifully appointed home which included lovely decor, comfy furniture and beds, and even a spacious garage for our vehicles and beach gear. . We especially appreciated the adjustable tempurpedic king size bed in the master bedroom suite We loved the layout of the spacious rooms and especially enjoyed the screened in porches, the gas grill, and the salt water pool which were all adjacent to one another and easily viewed from the kitchen and great room area.. The kitchen was the most well equipped one we’ve experienced to date, which made meal preparation a breeze. There was even a crock pot, an instapot, a small single serve Keurig, a drink/wine cooler, and an ice machine! Should you choose to stay at Sea No Evil, just be aware that it’ actually is a 4 bedroom with 3 full baths and 2 half baths. The bunk room is on the top floor where the master and laundry room are located, so the only full bath on that floor is in the master. There’s a half bath for the bunk room, but our grandchildren, ages 6, 12, 16, and 18 didn’t mind and just showered in the master bathroom or their parents’ room on the main level. Another plus for Sea No Evil was the fact that it has an elevator that accessed all floors, almost a necessity for my husband and me, as we are in our seventy’s. Unfortunately it had a little problem during our stay and wasn’t working for a couple of days, but Cape and Coast quickly arranged service so that we were able to use it when packing up to leave,. For that, we were most grateful, because we had a lot of stuff! We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing week at Sea No Evil, the best beach house ever over the las 18 years! ##### Jessica K. The listing and photos are accurate but don't tell the true story of this house's peaceful location and well thought out interior. The pool on the main living level is amazing for small children allowing the parents to interact with the rest of the group while still supervising. The kitchen is completely stocked and ready for the chefs among your group. Bring yourselves and be ready to relax! My only negative is that there is not a door on the bunk room. We have been renting vacation homes for forty years and these are things that are of primary importance to us. Our only disappointments were it was too cold to use the pool and that weather made us wish we could use the fireplace. Maybe an added fee for that privilege? The area is great for exploring, the shrimp and oysters abundant and delicious. We especially enjoyed Apalachicola and St.George Island, especially the State Park. ##### Glenn M.
