Special note, river access is becoming increasingly difficult, so if you stay here directly on the river, you have unlimited access, anytime, right off of your own dock, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and motor boating. This is a beautiful, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home Directly on the Weeki Wachee River. We are known as the " Clock House"! From the moment you pass through the hidden gate into the lushly landscaped entry path, the magic of this RIVER home is apparent. Our premier location on the river is one of the best, with deep water right off of the long riverfront dock and across river is a huge, protected, wilderness area. Our property has a new 8' fence on both sides so that your visit is very private. There is a unique (only one on the weeki wachee river) that has a boathouse with an automatic garage door. So you can board your kayaks (we have 4) or paddleboards in the boathouse and paddle out. Of special note, the State Park is now limiting the number of boats they will launch, therefore being right on the river is more important than ever. On the ground floor, the entire house is tiled. You come into a nice foyer with the laundry and half bath to your right and the living/kitchen area the left. Ground floor master bedroom and bath are all wood paneled walls and ceiling. The beautiful full equipped kitchen has stainless appliances, shaker cabinets, and granite counters. There is a huge window facing the patio and river. There is a narrow, long, screened porch just out of the kitchen sliding glass doors for your enjoyment of the view of the weeki wachee river!!. You access the second floor via beautiful spiral stairs and it has a living room with a 2 couches, two bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath. The river deck is huge with pavers and wood decking. There is also a propane gas grill with a side burner, so you can cook and eat right on the river. We have added a large screen room (very important some times of year) with a tile table and seating for 6, right on the river. This is very nice home, very well outfitted, very well located, and owners dedicated to making this a great vacation for you and your family. We will make sure everything is as perfect as we can so that your vacation is a great success. You can jump right off the dock into crystal clear blue water. Thats just one of the things among so many. Sitting on the dock at night listening to the sounds of the woods. Fish jumping out of the water. Star gazing. It ended up being my husband who is handicapped to walk and our two adult kids with their other half. My husband was content to sit on the dock and enjoy nature while the rest jumped on the Round Boats you can rent up stream. We laughed, breathed fresh air and the kids can't stop thanking me . The house is laid out perfect for a family gathering with beautiful wood decor throughout. Most definitely will be back and I'm bringing the grandbabies. The location, about 1 mile from Rogers Park, is ideally situated on the river with easy access to the marina for kayak and boat rentals and also great for watching passersby head to the inlets and springs all day long . . . then leisurely float back by again with friendly waves and relaxed smiles. Dolphins, mullet, crabs and manatees were the exciting highlight swimming by in the deep clear water just off the dock where we relaxed, floated, swam and snorkeled for hours. The spacious house had all the comforts of home with plenty of sleeping and conversation space. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, dishware and appliances needed to cook delicious meals for our family during our visit, we never had to leave! We frequent Weeki and rent on the river 3 to 5 times a year. This is by far our favorite rental ! Perfect location and the home was just perfect in every way. The home is directly on the main river. The host Summer is top notch. If you text her, she will answer you promptly. She was there to greet us when we were leaving to make sure how our stay was. The house was spotless. Plenty of beach towels, plenty of bath towels. Would definitely recommend staying here, and we plan on going back. We were there to celebrate my adult son’s Birthday. I asked summer if she could hang a few birthday decorations and she did not disappoint. Thank you Summer for everything and a wonderful stay. ##### P M. Beautiful location, right on the river. We saw several manatees swim by during our stay and saw even more when we took out the provided kayaks. Watch the tides to know when to kayak downstream, if you wait till high tide it is much easier to kayak back than during low tide. We enjoyed taking the kayaks to nearby Hospital Hole to see the many manatees there. So relaxing and beautiful! Also, the first floor bedroom was accessible for my older parents. ##### Sandy W.
