"Great stay here, as a base for a buddies golf trip - watching the Open in Troon and playing in the area. Had what we think were refurbished rooms at the

end. Rooms spacious and well cleaned. Gym and

facilities top quality. Staff excellent. Breakfast terrific. And cracking views in a beautiful setting. We didn't play the hotel golf course. From other reviews it sounds like the grandeur had faded recently. If so, this place is on the up again."

"Cameron House was a dream! The hotel itself was so beautiful inside and out. The hotel offered so many amenities- a huge gym, nice indoor Pool and hot-tub and a movie theater. There was also an amazing whisky bar on site with knowledgable staff. The tavern onsite was great for food and drink as well. The breakfast buffet was superb. All the staff were so kind and helpful. We 100% recommend this hotel. Its by far one of the best hotels weve stayed at overseas. "

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic, rooms are amazing and bed extremely comfortable. Views across the loch are simply stunning and we excitedly woke up to the most amazing sunrise. Beautiful balcony to sit and relax too. Staff are very friendly and attentive, can’t do enough for you which was really nice. We enjoyed our stay so much it might just become an annual visit. "Beautiful location and property. Room comfy and staff very friendly but for a hotel of this supposed standard there was a distinct lacking in detail. Of the four days I stayed there only once was the room serviced properly. For example on two occasions the tea/milk/biscuits was not and on a couple of occasions the dirty water glasses were not replaced. In the restaurant on one occasion there were no side plates at breakfast, and dirty dishes were left on the table when other food was brought....
