The views were outstanding, and you really can't get any closer to the beach. A little grocery, restaurants and bus stop are an easy walk away. The walk up was not too bad, and got easier with time. The neighbors are friendly. The appartment was pretty but we also found the bed was uncomfortable too. The arrangement for clean towels every week was a very good service. We found Port Macquarie was a great location to visit and the beaches are beautiful. Plenty of places to visit for all visitors. Great little Museum, flights and dolphin boat tours etc. Also a lot of choice of foods from takeaway’s to restaurants. The Thai restaurant in town (Northport Thai) was very good, also a lovely fish restaurant (Whalebone Wharf) which we enjoyed very much and its in a great location overlooking the river.
