We had the 2 bedroom spa apartment and it was a beautiful apartment with a great setup. Large kitchen and living areas with 2 generous balconies. It was very clean and had plenty of toiletry and cleaning supplies. The room i stayed in was very old and desperately needs renovations. The toilet in the ensuite was discoloured and was yellow in colour. Very clean. Lovely view from our room on 7th floor and rooftop facilities. Enjoyed the pool and sauna. Short walk to several restaurants including Bowling Club. Longer walk to central business area. Our timing was unusual. We needed to relocate our car by 8am due to maintenance on the garage door. There was a risk of losing water by 9am for routine council maintenance. The room would have benefitted from better lighting around the bathroom mirror and a door to the bathroom. There was no door. A poorly fitting wooden partition separated the bathroom from the other living area. Nice view of the ocean. Location is great, not far from town or the beach however it is on a main road which is noisy with the morning traffic as the windows are not double glazed. The kitchen was equipped with the basics however cleaning needs to be significantly improved. WiFi is available but is basically useless as it was too slow to do anything, even with just one device connected. Beds are ok but not the most comfortable. As with many apartments, the main bedroom has 2 singles joined together and not a queen bed which would have been preferred but not offered as an option. Cleanliness was disappointing - the basics were fine however some surfaces were in need of a thorough clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming as are most people in Port Macquarie.
