This lovely family home enjoys a coveted location right on the channel, with spectacular views of the water from a private deck, plus dock access, on-site amenities, and more! Inside, you'll find a bright and tasteful living space with cathedral ceilings, lots of comfortable furniture, maritime décor, and glistening floors. The living room includes a large flatscreen TV, perfect for those lazy afternoon ballgames, and sliding door access to the furnished deck overlooking the water. The full kitchen has plenty of small and major appliances, cabinetry, and counter space to help you turn out a world-class meal. Enjoy your creation at the dining table with seating for four or take it outside as an al-fresco meal under the cool sea breeze. The private washer/dryer will ensure that everyone has clean clothes during your stay, so you can afford to pack light for your trip. Things to Know The dock is available for use by renters; however, the boat lift is reserved for owner use only. The property is not suitable for small children as there are no gates or barriers that exist at dock entry. 2-day minimum stay required. You must check in at the Long Island Village Resort Center to pay for parking passes (two vehicles maximum) and wristbands. This is an $90 fee that will be paid directly to the Long Island Village HOA on arrival and is not included in your Vacasa fees. \*\*\*\* Please note, Texas weather brings pesky insects, and while we strive to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible, we are not able to control the elements that attract insects to the outdoor/indoor areas. We have stayed at Long Island Village several times over the years. But this is the first location I would be willing to return to! It was spacious, clean, well-maintained, and everything worked! Comfortable beds, fans in every room, washer and dryer, beautiful outdoor space. The sun is a lot in the late afternoon. But it’s beautiful views on the main channel. My only complaint was the mosquitos were out of control outside- hoping the HOA does something about that soon!! ##### Kerri d. The kitchen wasn't as stocked as we thought. The queen bed was hard. The other bedroom was hot at night. Believe it was because the top twin bed over it blocked the air. And lastly the shower head is so high up it hits you right in the face and you can't move back . We love renting with Vacasa but not this home anymore ##### Matias S. We enjoyed the home, everything was clean, the decor was very beachy and nice. The patio and pier were perfect. We enjoyed resting on the patio watching the boats and dolphins and fishing on the pier. The one thing I wish was different, is the guest bedroom with bunk beds. This trip was for 2 couples, the bunk bed is perfect for kids, teens or young adults. Not ideal for a mid-age couple. Other than that, everything else was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped. We also enjoyed the big windows/view, easy-to-use window blinds, the fans all over the home, and how easy it was to control the lights and fans.
