"It was a nice condo. Across the street from the beach. Condo had alot of extras towels, blankets, plates, my favorite hot sauce Tapatio, toothbrush. One thing I felt a cetaim type of way about is the thermostat was powered on but it did not operate the AC at all. I came in from a long walk and I was hot as hell and i could not power on the central air. I was told by Joel that the outside temperature affects the thermostat. I live in Nevada we are ice cold in the winter and most nights and my AC is still fullly functional year round. The only other item that was hit and miss was the WIFI. Very spotty, touch and go lots of buffering. I was told by Joel that the ocean waves affect the WIFI. This WIFI signal issue must be exclusive to Port Hueneme because I did not have this issue when I lived in San Pedro Harbor. The hot tub had alot of bleach but that has nothing to do with the host. He let me do a late check out which was really kind of him. He was very responsive during our entire trip. It was a very good deal all things considered."

"I am over 70 and found The rental process overwhelming for me. I will think twice of house renting again. Much easier to books hotel rooms. The location was great. Indoors the house was nice. We could not enjoy the landings no where to sit and few was not appealing (dead plants and weeds)."

"The host was an excellent communicator. It was a beautiful, comfortable and clean house. It was perfect for our stay. I am a local by my daughter, son-in-love and grandchildren were visiting from the UK. Our visit was absolutely perfect. Everything was in a reasonable distance. The host was super nice. He made sure we were very comfortable. I highly recommend. House is in a nice, quiet and safe gated community. I will definitely stay again. "

"Worked well for our group of six space wise. Comfortable beds. Situated very close to neighboring homes which had a dog that barked a lot at odd hours during the night. The kitchen could have used some dish towels and wash cloths for cleaning up and wiping down. Also, we could not find any garbage bags for the kitchen. Upon arrival, the kitchen garbage was partially full and smelly. It was not lined with a bag for easy removal. Dishes in the drawer were not very clean. Location was good for our Channel Islands visit with a short drive. "
