Our villa was very well presented although the hand basin in the bathroom didn't drain very well and black grungy things floated up, which was pretty gross. Obviously, the drainpipe hadn't been cleaned/cleared for a while. We appreciated the temporary solution provided to keep our two dogs secure in the small front courtyard but it was heavy and awkward to move in and out of place. The courtyard itself had nowhere for dogs to toilet so we had to take them out the back on lead, which was unfenced, steep and treacherous in the dark. They escaped on our last night and we had a very anxious hour until they came back. Basically, it's perfect for a romantic break for two (without the grungy floaties) but not so great with dogs. Next time we'll come without them or stay somewhere more secure. ##### Gail C.
