We had a very nice time at Whalers Cottage. The location is excellent and within walking distance of town, beach and local attractions. It was wonderful to watch grebes and coots feeding in the beautiful pond outside. Frog calls lulled us to sleep each night The cottage was clean and functional. I enjoyed opening the curtains to the view of the lake and siping my tea watching the ducks and listening to birds chirping. We could walk into town in a few minutes, and East beach, Inlet and Griffiths island all close enough to reach on foot. Drove to Heywood one day for a wonderful Budj Bim tour of old stone huts, 6000 year old eel and fish aquaculture systems and beautiful nature and geology, on traditional lands with Gunditjmara traditional owners, Braydon and Leigh. Fabulous experience. The only downside to the cottage: we needed to keep the heater on the whole time to keep the cold out! ##### Kay M.
