I check in at 6:00 pm and found the room dirty, the beds were not made, bathroom towels in the floor and the balcony was infested with ants. I went back to the front desk because the phone in the room was out of service. At the front desk, several other guests were complaining about their rooms not being made. The front desk clerk couldn't offer me a clean room, he said the hotel was full. I asked him to cancel my reservation and left with my family.
I contacted Expedia and told the costumer service representative about my experience. Expedia contacted me later by email to inform that the hotel refused to refund my reservation.
Elmouradi is advertised as a 3 star resort, but it doesn't qualify for the advertised rating. In fact the poor condition of the room and hotel service reflect a total neclect of this property by its staff.
